Official R18 Premade Rules

If you're going to be spamming consumables in games, then don't expect to be invited to anything remotely competitive. We've had specific rules in place for most expansions, always adapting towards the meta. Classic will be no different.

Only respect for @Bowner @Agonist and @#ko - all three belong to guilds that will be premading. It's healthy for competition to discuss differences on an open forum where other members of the bracket can contribute.

You'll always get the baby yoda's who will copy pasta the "you're no one kid/1v1 me/your opinion is irrelevant" and can't comprehend healthy banter.

How about you just play the game and win at it instead of making rules to favor you?

If you need to limit your opponents to win, you suck. Learn to win at the actual game.
Yes because losing to an opponent who clutches in a speedpot to get a final cap really showcases their skill at the game. This isn't about limiting your opponents, it's about creating a fair and competitive environment for everyone. Instead of relying on consumables and other things to win, people can actually improve their gameplay and mechanics to become better at the game, which in turn will increase the overall quality of games.

I mean overall thats fine. I will be premading as well, but I get a lot of you dont know me yet. That will change as I start to make a name for myself in NA. Its already happening. I am dumping my consumes in pugs lately, but am always ready to get more if collectively we decide to stop being babies and play the game as it was made.

I mean, personally, just clutch a speed pot to catch him then? I get where you're coming from, but at the same time, I am Horde. Alliance has the advantage of Blessing of Freedom at 19 which I'm sure as you know combined with speed pots or Goblin Rocket Boots is fucking bonked. But thats the game. If I want to win I have to get good.

I and alot of other twinks that play competitively have a negative view on consumables, and alot of it's use is to make up for bad gameplay and positioning. You want see any guild opting to allow speedpot in 10v10 games, so why allow them in pugs? You will just end up relying on them too heavily and ultimately impact yours and your teams performance when it comes to more competitive games.

Goodluck with that. With your mindset, you sound worse than the other casual shutters.

No I don't play at all. But when I do play I play competitively.

so why advocate for bans?
"as good as or better than others of a comparable nature." is the definition of what it means to be competitive. Doesnt sound like you are competitive, sounds like you dont or arent willing to compare so you want to take toys away from others until you do.

Think what you like, but there's many people that can attest to my competitiveness.

If we had this your way with no rules whatsoever, then I can already tell you that queues will be dead within a couple of weeks. How enjoyable are games going to be with 6 speedpotting hunters per team?

the way this community is so close-minded and not open to new players or ideas, its astonishing to me you think anything said and done here will be affecting our queues, except maybe convince some people not to bother twinking. id imagine a majority of players dont come here or care what any of us say. You will never regulate solo q play unless you are literally blizzard.

plus I know some of the people on here have no honor, and there is no neutral arbitrator of the rules.

as a rogue 6 speed potting hunters sounds pretty fucked. I did say however, class limits *could* be healthy. We dont have as clearly defined roles as other games, say a MOBA, but we still have a similar meta, where we need spots filled out overall.

Why do you keep bringing up solo q play? No one cares whatsoever what anyone does in random pug games, and if they do theyre a degenerate that needs to stay to 10v10s if its too much for people to use consums in pugs. Its been said many times these rules are directly related to premades, guild v guild, games. You're beating a long since dead horse by continuing to bring up solo q play, its a terrible argument drop it.
