Official Epic Upgrade Bragging Thread (Warning: Jealousy/Salt)

How far down are you thinking they're thinking they messed up? Very cautious about low-level access being an "Oops!" as well...

I think it was an "Oops... never mind" because although the other vendors display scaled gear you can't buy the items (level requirement). I doubt they will take them away. Only change that might happen is they now become GF to those players that bought.

The AV event is intended for characters level 20 and up. We're supposed to have access. I think they just put the vendor int he game early by mistake and decided to pull him when they realized it, rather than leave him up for another month-ish

The presence of the "accidental" vendors was a perfectly understandable mistake (most of the Anniversary Event "assets" were included in the 8.2.5 patch, they're just not accessible in-game yet)... the only thing that actually shocked me was how long it took Blizzard™ to "recall" them!

Seriously... how can Blizzard™ not notice "prematurely existing" special-event vendors within minutes of the servers coming back online? How is there not a logfile that literally displays any "New-Patch NPC Spawnings" whenever a content-patch lands?

Don't get me wrong, the fact that it happened is fun 'n all... but if we assume that this wasn't an intentional "test" or something, then it's goddamn Amateur Hour over at Blizzard™.

Edit 2: I legitimately think I need to put the lottery on. That's the cape, head, and dagger all within 30 minutes.

Edit 3: Approximately 24 hours since my last epic. Not what I was going for but I'll take it nonetheless.

Farmed 2 (yes 2!) epic Humbert's chest pieces over this past week so I can outfit both a horde and ally hunter. I'll be doing re-rolls for the epic Hand of Argus Crossfire once I get a pair of Foreman's legs.

Grats! I've never even had a green one drop.
