IMO what you should do shane is instead add a rank for ppl that's been members for 70-75 % of TI's existance. basing ranks on years is a bad idea because it's not in relation to the site's existance and doesn't really say much

That is approximately six years or so.
The site has been here longer than you think. It did not used to even look like it does now. Not even close. When it "moved" almost everything was lost if I remember correctly.
We really don't even need ranks. All it does is make people feel good about themsel ves. And denotes a little bit a privilege that others do not have.

From a moderators perspective I can see the ranks are extremely important to a lot of people..
