New ILVL 54 artefact weapons

The gameplay with 54 weapons is so fast and bursty, this is unhealthy for the bracket AF

I still hope they nuke 54s 49s and the staff to the ground. The gameplay has never been worse than now in terms of dmg and who jumps on who first. Many specs are irrelevant
Blizzard created Broken hunters made the bracket almost unplayable.

Before 54 knowledge bramble survival was the most powerful combination, that has not changed it still is. At least now artifact 44s have brought the gap “closer” for any other class.

I will probably use a 54 on my healer but that’s only because I don’t use oils.(stones obviously)

I have almost completed testing 2 lvl29 mm hunters, any players who like 1 or 2 shotting others can get the ilvl37 boe mail greens on AH.. They are abundant and CHEAP.. Priority are savant.. If you cant find any then get harmon. My testing on the 2 lvl29s are using harmon. Take note the mastery value must be max and versa min. The bow is ilvl54 artifact with +5 dmg diamond.. The highest dmg single aim shot in bg achievable had been 3.9+k on crit.. aim shot base is 1.6k plus without crit.. Your talent will give you 50% extra on players with full health or something.. i believe it can surpass 4k on some crit.. Those players having around or under 3k are extremely vulnerable regardless what gears they had (including all vets/f2p) .. If they are alive after your aim shot.. Rapid fire next or second aim shot.. You don't need sockets or anything, ignore critical and haste.. With the new ilvl54 bow, lvl20 surv hunters with ilvl44 or ilvl54 no longer poses any threat.. Enjoy!

Other stats: health is around 3.5+k to 3.6+k, hitting range is 50 yards.

update: aim shot just hit 4.5k in bg

What ilvl37 boe green mail do you mean? How can you put the 5+ scope on artifact, in bg?
They have lvl29 requirement or not?

The bracket is total broken atm.
Healers can totally fuk the 54 artifact as they need to stack more talasites and heals cant keep with the same lvl as dmg

Yes lolol that's what I encounter too.. Good thing you bring it up.. Put 1 relic in first.. Enchant.. Then put another relic

Yes ilvl37 are meant for lvl29 players.. With this ilvl54 bow, a hunter can finally 1-2 shot "most" players in the 20-29 bracket, even the very geared ones

You can farm fire relic during legion assaults. Most of those mobs can drop any kind of relic. Fire is rare.
Fire also can be find in leystone lockbox.

I tried finding more about this on wowhead and farming a bit in game but sadly had no luck yet :(. Wowhead also showed that all invasion mobs i encountered have no drop chance for relics. I wonder if im doing something wrong.

Wowhead droprate info is dogshit. But anyway, all invasion mobs drop them. If you wanna know which mob is an invasion mob, check if they drop 2 different types of the same armor or multiple versions of rings or necks.

So do we have a consensus yet? For dps, is a 44 weapon + stones / oils better than a 54?
I'd like to see some numbers, but the answer may still be situational. Depends on what/where you're fighting.

Also, quite a few classes have two of the same wpn type...two staves, two pairs of daggers. Might be best to make a 44 and a 54, and keep the option open.

It's also possible that Blizz may implement some incomplete fix that hits any item 49+, but overlooks the 44s.

20VET Feral Weapon comparison 44/54/Bramble

Got some numbers for you guys, with a few disclaimers to mention.
1. My 54 is actually 51 as it has one grandfathered relic I want to keep in there so is slightly less damage than what it should be.
2. I have a 7 versa enchant on my off hand of the 44 so used a trinket with 6 versa static to gauge a close comparison when using the other weapons.
3. This is for Feral where the biggest chunk is calculated from weapon damage, other class' may differ slightly.

As you can see however these are irrelevant when comparing the final numbers. I didn't show it in the video however target dummy damage with auto attacks and other abilities mirror these results.

Other points of interest include war-games/arena where you can not buff your weapon. Also tests were done in open world not instanced PVP, not that the later should make any difference when scaling against each other.

Also include my new intro, enjoy :D

The fact that it only took me half an hour to get to ilvl-54 for MM hunters, I can safely say that Satan is real.
The Temptation wasnt the apple that Adam plucked from the tree, its maining a hunter. Hence why god kicked him out of heaven.

<---first hpal using prot artefact.

edit: haven't played in this bracket in a while, but i think the class that benefits MOST from this is rogue, then any shield users.

hunters already had 44, so this is actually an indirect nerf to hunters, because everyone else is stronger now.

warriors already had 44/destiny

believe it or not, i54 is actually healthy for this bracket, that shows how unhealthy it was to begin with.

Someone from my tiny realm asked me day before how to get the ilvl54, and after explaining to him the whole thing, and after he gotten his artifact weapon, I suddenly realised it's not as simple as anyone thinks.. For those players not from the few realms that has tons on AH, it's literally no way for them to get it at all.. He was a lvl15 player :D:D:D so ultimately I think the ilvl54 will still be quite exclusive

Yet again Vets have the upper hand than pure f2p players. But hey, I love me some masochistic farming experiences so nothing changed.

...
A vet can resub and buy everything from AH, but wait 30 days to PVP again. ...
Or wait up to 60 days to PvP again instead if they didn't use a WoW token to buy their sub.
For those who bought sub with legal tender, the minimum accessible sub deal now is for 2 months instead of just one month like before.
