This no longer works



I have already gotten 2 level 80 leg armors on my 19 twink's pants today so I think I know what I am doing. This thread will be a detailed guide for doing it and also a list of what enchant works with what (updated as people comment).

This is so you don't waste hundreds of gold doing it the wrong way or buy 8 Fel Armaments just to find out the level 19 white shoulders you bought for 500% its actual value because they were the only ones on the AH are "too low level" for the Aldor inscription :(



Instructions (PLEASE correct me if I am wrong):

1. Get a green/white BoE armor piece with durability (I hear it doesn't work with blue items)



2. get an enchant of your choosing (I will make a list of known working enchants below)



3. apply the enchant to the item, it will be soulbound to you



4. DO NOT EQUIP IT!!



5. I recommend putting your gear in your bank (excluding the enchanted item you want to send to your twink) before you go on to step 6



6. go die... then rez at the spirit healer so the item loses durability.



7. repeat step 6 until the item is broken ( 0 durability)



8. it will still be soulbound, DO NOT EQUIP, log out.



9. log in, it shouldn't be soulbound anymore.



10. Mail it /trade it ( I can confirm it works through trading) to whoever (probably your twink)



11. DO NOT EQUIP! It will look like it has no enchant and no stats.



12. repair it BEFORE you equip, it wills till look like it has nothing on it.



13. log out



14. log in



15. YAY you are done!! (it should have the enchant you put on it and the stats back!)

good point, but does the +30 stam shoulder enchant work on white shoulders if you don't have an 80 to get BoAs for you?



I hear in the next patch some white shoulder are gaining stats so for people without 80 mains that would be useful info (assuming all of this wont be nerfed)
 
Well the gladiator ones work on BoA shoulders... so I suppose you're can't rule out all shoulder enchants until you've tried it.

Confirmed that all WotLK Leg Armor Kits work



In theory Inscription of the Gladiator should work on whites.



Aldor/Scyer, Sons of Hodir, and Wintergrasp Shoulder Enchants do not work

actually this thread is wrong the only helm enchants that works is 30 spell power 20 crit and the rest of the bc ones



wotlk ones dont work because they have hidden level reqs that take a level to put them on seems like blizzard left the spell power one out and forgot to put a level req on it though

You obviously dont look into the information you are posting.



Step one: go to http://www.wowhead.com/



Step two: go to any wotlk head enchant besides the 30 spell/20 crit

example: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44152



Step three: click on the text of the enchant

example: http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=59960



Step four: look in the top right corner of your screen and it will tell you what level the item has to be to be able to get the enchant.



Step five: dont post false information next time.

Plus I'm pretty sure I've seen some people with the 50 AP 20 Crit one.
