Need help with my 11 fury warrior

Sure why not that'd be great.
I also have the demon sheer + zulfarrak end boss combo if that helps. Don't have double smite hammer yet (cause i've been vendoring them). That kinda sucks that hatebringer isn't bis anymore. Farmed two of them and it took me 100+ attempts at the damn hydra. My battlened is WildRage#15365
EDIT: Oh also I see you aren't wearing full socket gear. I think dps wise socket gear is better but lacks survavibility which I make up for with the warlord medallion trinket that cheats death. Is their a particular reason u don't use shoulder/waist/boots?

Ight i went back with a dps chart and did some testing. ur right man lmao. I'm naked except weapons and TW weapons are doing like 30-40% more dmg than hatebringer.
I spent like 13 hours farming hatebringer lmao. womp womp lesson learnt.

Because Im prioritizing verse and strength. Havent decided to min max more yet. I just use this for TW and I already kill stuff with 2 whirlwinds mostly.

Not that I wanted to be right or anything lol. I feel ya. I spend alot of time testing stuff on my guy because I get bored. I have so far found for my current stats, the wave slicer with rivendare offhand for the verse is the hardest hitting I can do. Maybe tuesday changing to wrath may change that, I have not looked at wrath gear in years. What I need is BC TW because our BIS rings are off Yor, the summoned boss of one of the BC dungeons. They have haste verse WITH STR and stam lol. No other TW dungeons have STR rings. I had them on my first twink, but he got time reaver. I figured I could find rings but just the one from NW. I also will be getting the other from NW or Siege. But the NW plus 1 from Yor would be BIS due to secondary stats. 2 from current content with magnificent jeweler settings is still within a 5-7% margin. So its not life changing.

Just looked at it myself. Wrath TW has that axe that drops from Loken with pure haste, probably going to be best in slot for fury warrior. Stat wise it's 95% of hatebringer and dmg on top its just way better.
Personally I go with stealth ring since you can skip alot of mobs in dungeons with it. Very useful for sniping end bosses. I think the other BIS ring would be headless horsemen ring with socket though (also much easier to farm) as it should be slightly better than the one from BC but unfortunately I just made this twink so I don't have it.
Gear wise prob socket still wins by a very low margin dmg wise but it's at that point where I'm considering trading a bit of dmg for the extra stamina and armor in tw gear since wrath tw has pure haste gear.
 
Axe from Loken that we are going to be able to get for a week starting tmr is probably going to be BIS. RN waveslicer seems to be BIS at the moment.

I'm not exactly sure how often onhit effect procs so I'm leaving out demon sheer and the sword from zulfarrak.

Yeah looking at it... Its waveslicer but pure haste. I still think this and rivendares will be BIS for damage. Youre haste cap will be so good with just 1 of these, that all youre enchants will be verse. With verse giving pure damage, str and verse is strongest points to get. So 24% haste, 130+ str, and stack verse. Also with wrath TW, we get pure haste wrists. That should be BIS

We dont "need" it per say.
But secondary stats for an 11 start to have diminishing returns at like 23.5 of something like that.
And Haste is our 2nd highest priority after Strength.

As an 11 Fury warr you will still be able to melt faces even without capping haste, its only if you are trying to min / max stats does it matter.
 
How did we get to the point that the entire 10s community thinks 23.5% haste (or 24, or 24.5) is some kind of magic number without anyone knowing why? If someone actually has a logical explanation, please enlighten us. But it's not the haste cap, it's not the GCD cap, and it has nothing to do with diminishing returns.

So instead of just saying everyone is wrong why dont you enlighten us?
 
Nothing special happens at 23.5% haste as far as I can tell.

I'm open to being proven wrong, but the fact that every explanation I've heard is demonstrably incorrect reinforces that it's just a bunch of people parroting something that they don't understand.

The most in depth I've seen is here https://xpoff.com/threads/explain-haste-cap-please.100595/#post-1324489 from Kaxle with screenshots of a second hand conversation on discord saying it's based on calculations for spinning crane kick for MW monks. I don't even think that that is correct, as SCK's duration should just always be equal to the GCD until you hit the GCD cap (100% haste), but maybe I'm not understanding that mechanic completely. However, clearly it doesn't apply to fury warriors.

Simply DRs kicks in at 24.5% for fury warriors. Then there is further DR at like 30. Simply put, your GCD doesnt need to be any faster than 1.2. After that, for fury at least, its best to stack verse as a second stat due to lifesteal working off verse. Im almost fully geared in BIS gear. Im missing some wrists that may let me play with other things. But Wrath TW has full haste wrists. I also plan to get the crit gem as well.
