MS effect at 19

Permafrost now also reduces the target's healing received by 7/13/20%.

This means dispellable MS effect for mages. I reckon it also settles the "2 or 3 points in permafrost" debate.

ahahahahaha man this shit is gonna be reverted faster than shaman flametongue MS change. hoooooly fuck what were they thinking giving one of the most overpowered specs in the game mortal strike. honestly, what the hell is blizzard even doing anymore?

How is this even overpowered?

Unless it stacks with wound its not even good considering the only good (popular) 2s or 3s combo for a mage includes a rogue.

At 19 it wont be overpowered because a priest can just dispel it, most likely.

There was never a debate if you were any good.

20% dispellable reduction won't affect 19s very much at all.

It might not for some things - but it will put "bad priests" on the edge, when they have 8 different things they have to dispell, it'll test em and see which ones they will dispell - dispell frost nova off the rogue, sheep off the hunter, flame shock off yourself, chill off the warrior, or do they heal/fear/try something else? It might not end up being super OP and game breaking, but it's nice none the less.

The only way I can see this being a large buff is if it puts another debuff on the target which might clutter priest dispels.

20% in all isn't very large and if it is able to be dispelled then its nothing special.

And when it comes to 80s if you'd care to clarify that'd be neat

I can see it being really annoying in the level 80 arena....

PMR is already the top for 3's team, and Mage / Rogue isn't far behind for 2's.

Speicaly if they are frost, Can't LoS their Images or the water element.

Soo the refuse to give enhancement shamans an ms buff to help them deal with healers cause it takes away from the warriors unique class buff... bug give mages an AoE MS that's just dandy? oO if this goes through I'll finally level my mage the rest of the way to 80 and terrorize people till it gets changed :p

And the "it can be dispelled" argument is invalid - frost mages can re-apply the debuff as fast as you can remove it - so you'd be better off just accepting the 20% healing penalty

Permafrost affects Frostbolt, so it's not an AoE effect unless there's some Mage move that spams Frostbolt on everyone I'm unaware of.

Permafrost affects the "chill" debuff this debuff can be applied by

Cant recall if the chill applied by frost armor is a different type but there you have it.

and yes as you need to be 20+ to access it it will not affect 10-19, but the mere fact that's its possible at all is why it will get nerfed (removed hopefully) before going live.

Trolls priests had a 20% healing debuff for ages, but that was never game breaking. 20% is nothing. Especially for a mage who doesn't nuke through heals, but via CC.

Mage/Rogue anyone?

Hey guys guess what, wound poison is dispellable by priests druids shamans and paladins. Wound poison is still good.
