Moving up a bracket.

Has anyone here moved their character up to another bracket, and not regret it? I've recently completed all of the quests that a level 70 can aquire on both alliance and horde, on my 70 hunter, and I've been toying with the idea to move him up to the 80 bracket. The problem is that I'm pretty sure I'll end up regretting it, as he has quite a few grand fathered items and enchants. I hear how people regret their choice to level up a twink, but never the other way around.

So, anyone here who didn't regret moving to another bracket?

From my experience, the best advice I could give you is make a new one.

It doesn't take that long to level up with heirlooms, and I can almost guarantee that you'll regret making that GF'ed gear obsolete.

Plus, better safe than sorry right?

You will regret it, back in vanilla I would always level my twinks and play in the next bracket, for a while it was fine with no regret for years, then I came back to retail and didnt have any value on many toons, I've regretted it since.
