Indeed. This is not detectable since it's just swapping codes around inside of the 'cache' folder which is just like a temporary folder for holding data. Faster to load armor etc in-game then. This is also why you need to delete your cache when you go on priv. realms, since they might have modified gear, that is different from live

Been quite a while since I have checked the 19 Forums, and it's possible if somebody had already asked this question, but because I'm lazy to go check all only 6 pages, did you just take the cache you had from a private server where you or someone else edited displayid on them, and copied+pasted it to your retail wow, and it showed up like that?

No, it's all retail models that have just had their "model" code swapped. So the ID that goes and get "Bloodied Arcanite Reaper" for your character now gets the model for "Shadowmourne" instead. It's only temp though, and this won't work in 3.3.5 until I get it redone. (For some reason cache resets after patches). *QQ*.
Wait, isn't 3.3.5a live in US? This could possibly be why it's not working! If that's the case, it should be working tomorrow, or the day after when I get it re-uploaded. Since this is still patch 3.3.3 as it's also mentioned on the first page.

No clue.. Wouldn't think so, since going on a private realm will need you to delete your cache to make sure they don't collide. I'd imagine it was the same otherway around?
