This package includes Buzzer Blade - Item - World of Warcraft & Toughened Leather Armor - Item - World of Warcraft redone.



Greetings everyone,

as noted in another tread I have asked if this was against the rules, which it in general was but due to the circumstances not in a degree that would make anyone take actions (to the best of my understanding).



This is a small model edit package, that changes all level 19 gear into somewhat cooler / better looking high lvl gear (imo).



Guide



1. Close World of Warcraft

2. Go to:

....\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB - and delete 'enGB'

3. Copy paste the folder in the .zip file called "enGB" into

....\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\

4. Open World of Warcraft - log ALL the way into the game

5. Enjoy.



Want to go back to original models? Delete this folder: enGB (Or save it somewhere if you want to save the model edit)

Report possible missing items or buggy items to me by PMing me.

Known bug: Bracers/gloves of original item might show on cloth users when logged in. To fix this, take off bracers + gloves. Log out, log in. Put items on again.

PS: I put swapped these models myself, it isn't something I took from someone else.

Appreciate you taking time to reply to this, still I'd prefer it being a bit more describing and sophisticated than "looks gay". Fyi; It's blizzard models :)



I personally got tired of looking at twink gear. Is a neat change.

Yea, i do understand, that its Blizzard models.

But i personally think, that the twink gear (mainly 19's) looks a lot cooler than the current end game gear atm.
 
I didn't know you were able to do this type of thing, pretty cool. I agree fishing hat should be unchanged!

That's a creative and respectable critic post :)



I can see how some people would enjoy level 19 gear more, I personally just don't feel that way.
 
Does it only change your item skins or all items? I've edited the item cache to reskin before but then everyone wearing what i was wearing, which let's face it is pretty common, was also wearing reskinned versions which is kind of lame.

It changes the item icon in your character sheet (c) and the item appearance for everyone, of course. If you change the appearance of an item, it changes it for everyone. But it's the same as everyone "looking the same" at level 19. Now people that are BiS, or close, just look a lot cooler (In my opinion! :p).
 
This is a pretty cool idea, but not one I will be installing. To me... part of what makes twinking fun is the fact that you are playing a lot of Vanilla content and everyone is a mismatch of items. Level 19 is my break from level 80.

Imo, the gladiator shoulders from level 70 (the one it is now) looks a lot cooler! :p Can always try it and if you like keep it. If not, just put your original folder back in (Follow the Readme file).

I just made this because I personally wanted to have it like this. I spend 4 hours straight doing it, verrryyyy boring work, it's sort of like grinding emblems.. except.. more boring.. :p anyway, I just thought I'd share what I came to. :)
 
This is 110% undetectable, and you can not get banned for this, blizzard can not trace your cache, and if they did they could not do anything with it, its just where all the item looks, and info go into, it saves a lot of data space for blizzard because its not constantly sending data, just sends once. This is called cache and you can edit it to your likings. =) just dont go around saying "I LOVE MY t9 ON MY LEVEL 19". Bad idea in any situation.
