You know... beliefs are a very personal thing. You use quotation provided from a book written approximately 2000 years ago, translated up to this day. Then there is Socialism, and your defense towards it.
So the whole issue is the mixture of these two.
1.Socialism
2.Religion (and the basis of it)
Socialism
You would be a bloody fool to believe Socialism is good. You had a century, the 20 century, covered up in millions of dead bodies for you to draw back from your extremism. How can you defend Socialism ? Hitler (with the mass murder of Jews, and the catastrophes he committed upon the neighboring countries), Stalin (caused the mass starvation and extreme deaths due to low economy distributed to workers, and the conditions ---- read "The Gulag Archipelago" by Alexander Solzhenitsyn.) had purely good intentions in their hearts, they were to themselves and some believers the figure of a hero. Disgusting when you do the comparison.
Now I am not dismissing it completely, it is good if there is a balance between democracy and socialism, only then, do i believe and the evidence suggest that a country could be healthy.
Religion
Humans are made by nature and culture. Nature, as in they are mortal, subject to rot if not fed. Part of whats called logic and therefore articulation is embedded in nature too.
Culture. You, are not an individual that belongs only to "today", you are a recollection of traditions, beliefs of a gigantic period of time, namely when humans first started to understand each other, and so on. You, I, he, she, they... have ideals(people with traits we admire, we would strive to achieve). But between our ideals, there are differences and similarities in the traits. Now lets take 100 people, 1000, 100000..., the average of all these traits, makes up religion and what it is today. Now to convince people, they decided to make it political back in the time (where there was no judge, jury or executioner) adding mysticism. This, is true even today, the values uphold their effect strongly. By making it political, they would make people strive to become greater and more useful to themselves and others. That is the reason for each and every religion(monotheistic, idk about poli).
Now we as humans are part conscious and part unconscious, when you talk you don't have your mind focused on every letter, because you have the word learned, its part of your unconsciousness. That unconsciousness is deeply, deeply theistic, it believes. It is driven by culture. (Read Carl Jung). This is what religion is, fundamentally.
You cant take words written from a piece of literature colored by artistic tones to convey a certain benevolent message, and then make a fuss out of it to back up your own foolish thesis. Just stop. Extremism, in any nature is bad. Walk and see upon the lines of balance, then you will understand.
Also forward in life, when you hear something about x subject you touch, understand it,then hear another perspective and make your best choice you can between the two perspectives. Don't blindly rush in following. I didnt even read that thread, just the tittle itself is"wadafak is happenen".
