Matsubas Breadmaker

last night I got my dk up to 105.5% with parry/dodge

Im not sure how I could get any higher than that

I've got 130% in avoidance gear :p Stack str > dodge > parry.

What the crap!? I did str > dodge > parry but with food buffs and 300 str flask I only manage 105.5!!

I'm guessing I need ICC 25h and RS gear huh? And lots of str gems I would imagine. I only have cata and MoP gear. I've been trying to get into ICC but I've had zero luck

Edit: and new professions ><

Edit 2: yep I need raid gear

isn't 109% avoidance (according to aelobin) or even just a little bit below it good enough? why push for more, what's the point? i mean, whatever class you are, you could heal yourself in multiple ways so you should aim to maintain an equilibrium during your solo encounter, that is, push for lowest over-heal and highest DPS.

use swordshattering, reforge that trinket (and get either the 308 blue or the 272 green str stacking one), get the 308 neck, use a jasper dodge/parry ring (bouldercrag I think)

Oh and get LW. LW is like 700 str atm.

Oh damn that's a /facepalm moment right there! I totally forgot about the 308 neck and I have tons of blue 300 rings. Reforge the alch trinket? And I forgot I had a porcelain crab I can get 134 more dodge out of! I might still have the 272 trinket! I have bags and a bank full of quest items from vashj'ir!

Oh man I got so worked up about the 409 gear that I totally forgot about all my other bank gear lol! Thanks Splosion!

Edit: Would a bouldercrag neck be better than the 308 one? I'll use both and see which would be better if I reach the avoidance cap.

300 neck : 164 stam, 109 str, 73 parry, 73 dodge

308 neck: 177 stam, 118 str, 69 parry, 85 mastery.

Edit: I'll have to do LW when I xfer back to my main realm. I have all my gathering professions there with all my gold too. Only took 20k with me to buy all the mop stuff, as well as more mop stuff to xfer back.

Edit 3: and the weapon enchant I bought for i think 200g? I heard it would stack so I wanted to test it. I never got it to stack, but I didn't test it extensively

So yeah, I went home today and reforged my gear accordingly and got 110% avoidance.

Then I went and solo'd the first couple of Sunwell trash pulls, but had to get back to work so I hearthed :)

To be capped against higher levels ofc :) With 130% avoidance in blood I'm capped against a level 90 (I think), and I'm at 138% as unholy which is 1% below the 93 raid boss cap (ohai world bosses).

Can you take a port or a summon to Pandaria sub 85? I didn't think you could get to panda land without being 85.

Also, I think the world bosses (or any boss) are only considered 3 levels above your current level. Is that not correct?

Edit: And that would be freakin awesome to not get hit by a 90 melee.....

/dance
/mouse turn to face target
/lol!

i see. so basically you would be able to solo raids which you aren't allowed to zone in, that's funny.

trash is the only thing you will be able to solo as you can't go past the first boss.

but the rest of the instance shouldn't be too hard to solo.

Cata world bosses (lvl 88), the 2 MoP world bosses (lvl 93), and duelling 90s. I even went into the alliance city in Pandaria earlier (as horde) and just walked around killing some guards (and the flightmaster xD). Unfortunately they have a stun, knockdown and mortal strike debuff though, so I died quite a bit too.

good thing that you died. if you didn't, enough people would complain about it and blizzard would probably nerf 409's with a hotfix.

Mount up, run past first boss, and he despawns at the end of the corridor. Actually fairly simple tbh, I might try brutallus later on.

wow i didn't know that. apparently you are right...

source:
How-To Hunter Solo Brutallus from Sunwell Plateau - YouTube

The first boss of the raid and all the trash leading up to Brutallus can be skipped by simply mounting up inside the instance and riding past them

this is really nice to know.

edit: ok, if this is not patched, then 70 twinking just became A LOT easier. you could just get random level 90's or just a single friend to run you through SWP.

:D

Wasn't it already easy? I've had an 85 friend boost me in BT/SWP since cata's release...

Solo boost? so what did you guys do? skip kalecgos and do the rest slowly? what class is your friend?
