Crazy. I wonder if it's even worth doing. Plate users can overcap like crazy from the new items, but casters might want to favor just gearing for other 80s anyway, since there is rumors that 84s can't queue for the locked arenas anyway.
If its 25% for 84s, its only 656 rating, and you can get that without hurting your other stats much. For fire, I have way more crit that needed for 100% scorch/fireball/pyro crits - like 300 extra, which I reforged into haste.
I won't even hope for an arena proc anytime soon btw.
man you have a lot of 409 pieces. i don't know how much pvp you do, but here is my advice:
409 MoP pieces are good, but for slots where you cannot get 409 MoP pieces, and for all sockets, stack as much resil as you can.
considering that you will be sporting so many 409 pieces, even if you stack resil, you would still hit as hard as a raid boss.
I geared for pve for now, I don't even have many pvp pieces since they're a major PITA to grind (either do a lot of WG, or run instances and convert justice to honor, both are terribly slow).
Random BGs are fine with base 40% resil, especially now with 50k unbuffed health from 409 items. Throw in ice barrier for another ~30k, and you should easily kill any 1 or 2 targets.
18 pieces of 409 BoE in total. 15 of which can be used by paladin. lmao! good luck nonetheless.
Most of them are weapons, which you don't need more than 1 of. Rest are 1-2 per armor type, and I don't think there is much point in using, say, int or agi gear if you're a ret paladin. Sure, you'll have a lot of stamina and secondary stats, but with so little STR you won't do that much damage.
Oh a random fact I'll throw in. Some 80DK recently solo'd lich king (10m normal), and I think that was without the 409 gear.
