Edit: my disc priest could also try (you ve said invasion gear hurts less on the healer), hes missing LFH (weatherbeating fishing hat instead)

You dont need any stamina as healer or DPS, we need pure power.

The downside is, making new toons doesn't get us Warforged geared people, it's maybe not a big deal for healers but it's a huge deal for DPS and each mana point is invaluable.

June (maybe late june) is a good idea because of lots of free time most people have, except exams ofc, but we never know when is this gonna be fixed. Raids got fixed after like 2 years? When nobody thought it's ever gonna get fixed and was getting lazy on achievements. That's why I wanted to do it soon-ish, but I guess better late than never.

Here's the deal - if anyone's interested, make an EU account and develop a toon, a disc priest or BM hunter. We'll see how it goes.

I'm in on a hunter. I did this content on a BM hunter when it was new, so I think it would be cool to come full circle and do it on a twink. And I was raiding pretty hardcore back then, so sitting through a night of frustrating wipes is nothing new ;)

I'll be geared and ready to roll in a weekish, if you wanna try some "proof of concept" runs before making a huge go of it.

Aight, i got this hunter more or less built. Just gotta grind some PvP crate gear. And start stocking consumables.

Which leads me to a question.

BM has some real Focus starvation problems, even when specd for extra regen. I know you recommend agi elixirs in the original post, but would it be worth it to stock DMF haste tinctures instead? Especially if im gearing more towards haste anyway?

Also, is there a preferred pet i should be seeking out?

Also also, ive not done high end "raiding" on a f2p so i have no idea how threat tables look. I made a night elf, assuming threat would be an issue and shadowmeld would be essential. But im having second thoughts and have a human in the works for the extra crit/haste/vers.

Is one preferable? Id hate to grind out pvp gear on one if the other has better racials. But fuck it, ill do both if it's something worth experimenting with.

Iiiii have no idea how BM hunters work, if haste gives you focus then by all means go for it.

Not really, no. Just don't spec it tenacity :)

Don't reroll. Night elves are absolutely fine, just get some better gear if you want and stock on consumables.

Rhae, Fry, Yak and I messed around there last week and I'll share my thoughts.

1.) You can use the summon stone, which is huge. Just need 2 and you can summon the rest. F2Ps can start it.
2.) Hunter is very strong. We started with me on mage and it was stupid bad. I switched to BM and we downed a few 10k hp guards. We didn't go any further. TBH it looks really tough. We struggled with pulls that bring 2.
3.) I'm pretty sure we can't enter this on Herioc. Not even sure if we could kill anything always but... Don Carlos drops that hat toy on Heroic. Would be amazing.
4.) Buy the shirts from Thomas (something). He's a traveling vendor between Southshore and Tarren Mill. They will be GF'd at some point if they ever patch this.

@Chops I think NE is the best choice. The Shadowmeld would be excellent and better than the tiny vers buff from human, I'd stick with that. NE has greater base agility anyways, you aren't really loosing DPS. I'd probably roll Core Hound for the lust, maybe if heals can't keep up. I'd use it more as defense than offense in that sense. Nothing is dying quickly. Spec into Roar of Sacrifice and hotkey it. Not sure if the buff counts toward crushing blows and critical strikes against but that would be huge if it did.

I'd be down if I was EU... gl guys.

Rare opportunity for me, as I am working most other weekends.
Int-potions and food is ready to go.

Maybe next time. It's a little bit weird that PvP is completely fucked up atm but still hardly anybody is interested in some "out-of-the-box-thinking-fun"...

This is vs a rare scorpion in Blasted Lands. Once you can get it to hit the rest of the channel doesn't miss. I did 4k+ damage. Might want to switch out double BM for double high haste frost mages.

Threat will be nuts though if it connects.

BMs are reliable source of damage, and it's stable so they won't overaggro. Thanks for the test though, I had no idea mages are in such a good spot DPS-wise.

Edit: how long did it take you to hit? It might be worth testing frost mages in midsummer with hit food

It's summer now, is anyone up to downing this boss on a weekend evening? We need 2 disc priests or at least one disc one other healer and 2 BM hunters, all F2P, vets are ok but only if you use 100% F2P gear and F2P consumables.
