lorewalker cho ethereal questline access to argus, korthia, beast warrens and maw

i was able to get maw walker title and some achieves i saw another player get days back, some of the rares i had to camp and wait for high level players to summon or activate. Valis the Cruel and Orophea (can drop a toy), i got credit for tagging them

i currently moved all my players there further into the questline stopping at Grab Bag. i have access to use FP between maw and kothia. at the wagon in korthia is a inn keeper to set hearth. we will have to see if we can stay after event is over, hearth back, if scalling remains, if eng toy still has maw option for those who did the ethereal event

blizz fixed cho on the ask a question option, there is a teleport option, i used it in korthia and was ported to venari in the maw. on another player i started the ethereal event when i got to netherstorm, i realized no one was in area other than me, i selected exit lorewalking option had to do a the chromie rope and dope, went to cho expecting to have to restart, and the option to teleport was there i tried it and was ported to netherstorm and able to continue. that was broken before,

I noticed Blizz fixed mob ?? lvl 45 while in chromie time. Regardless if you are in chromie time or in present time, all mobs are now set to lvl 20/22 now when lorewalking.

Rares are not star marked. You will have to use a guide that has a map of rares. Rares can be farmed daily for rep

I've been using RareScanner addon and it works somewhat. Although it's tricky to find a moving/patrolling mob.

Also while lorewalking, all portals and FP continue to work. Seems like only quests and instances are locked out. I had an alt check out timeless isle, tanaan jungle, stormsong valley, uldum, and almost everything is scaled to your level. However open world raid bosses and enemy faction leaders remain at max level with millions of hp (bummer).

Also I read max lvl players are using lorewalking to farm trinkets, since it SCALES UP mobs and their drops correspondingly, like a lvl 80 chromie time.

just tried this with some of the more common twink trinks on an 80 in LW. Theyre coming out ilvl 371 so idk, must be specific to certain ones that actually are worth it at 80

It gives me that message whenever I access any of the Lorewalking, talking to Cho to progress gives me that message.
The Xal'atath one works but when I relog, it kicked me out and again gave me that message.

We can also use the shattrath portal to quel danas and the portals to deepholm, mount hyjal and twilight highlands.

Nice catch. I knew npcs were all scaled to your level, but I had no clue portals did too. I was able to explore Deepholm and complete its midsummer bonfire for this year.

Are there any other portals to restricted zones that do not require questing or phasing? I'm thinking about Nazjatar or Vindicaar access (wihout vet unlock)

I set my hearth in Korthia, but outside of LW time, it dc'd me when I tried to hearth, then put me back in Oribos..... I don't have a Covenant chosen, though so may be causing an issue.

If you not have The Threads of Fate on level 20 (after skip that broken loot in few dungeons in SL), don't use HS without LW mode, better complete Ethereal questline, start again and stop when you will be teleported on Argus. Every time when you will be pick TW mode, you will be have access to Argus (after dialogue with Cho) and The Maw+Korthia with flight point (after use HS)

Tested - The Vindicator hearthstone bind works in Chromie Legion after Lorewalking but mobs aren't as easy as during Lorewalking to Argus. I was able to kill a few mini-bosses with not much to loot. No chests but getting Legion fishing leveling after flying to Hope's Landing, at the nearby pools, trying to fish up a Pond Nettle. Also to note, can not use the portal back from The Vindicator.

Tested - Korthia hearthstone bind, and doesn't return one to Korthia, yet was able to do a few "world" quests during Lorewalking from Korthia in the Maw. Similarly no chests to open, but some mini-bosses seem to be kill-able and I was able to loot a toy from Borr-Geth (note able to add to toy box but requires level 48 to use).

I have to re-verify but I think seem to be gaining reputation with Ve'nari each time redoing the Lorewalking Ethereal story, but the Army of Light reputation seems to just repeat @ Friendly.

I haven't tested Korthia but I have tested Zereth Mortis with the https://www.wowhead.com/item=172924/wormhole-generator-shadowlands previously and managed to get to ZM below level 60. The mobs were all still 60+. I can't recall if I did this with or without the campaign skip taken however.

It might be worth testing as an alternative to get to the Maw (and then Korthia) or Korthia directly.

I believe this isn't available as a pure F2P option because the schematic for the the toy is too expensive?
