day one of event
- first time i used a lvl 10 when at quest A Vessel Made Ready the item i needed to loot required level 45+ i left the area
- 6+ hours later 20 hunter in DF time was able to loot and complete the quest A Vessel Made Ready i assumed it was fixed
day two of event
- used a 10 in DF time to restarted the campaign was not able to loot item to complete quest A Vessel Made Ready, went to chromie switched to SL and then asked to be in present time DF, 3rd restart was able to continue on.
- 20 druid in DF time was not able to loot item to complete quest A Vessel Made Ready quit the lorewalking. had to do the chromie rope a dope. and restart again. no clue what blizz does to cause this after patches, tues maint or resets.

lorewalking campaigns are redoable for a green box. recommend taking one player thru, and then decide what players will stay in areas you may want to farm. If you leave a area that normally is access locked to players 45+, as of now you will have to restart the campaign

Eredath
in the questline you get access to eredath part of argus, some of the FP points work and can get to the other 2 main areas. i did not test or want to chance not being able to get back to eredar, or get stuck on one of the ships
if you do not complete the quest A Vessel Made Ready you will stay in area, might be possible to farm eggs for mounts, items, achieves. and other various mount drops

further in the questline i got Ease Of Passage this put me in korthia. the mini settlement is there, no quest NPCs specific to the area
korthia
- was able to see the treasure skulls on minimap thy stay marked even after looting. kill mobs/rares, loot the nests, loot chests/caches, and mushrooms, i was getting loot like i have on higher levels in the past,
- darkmaul and dusklight razorwing mounts. not sure if the tasty mushrooms are available for the bear mount, or the eggs for the flying mount i'm not seeing those in loot because i have both already
- able to summon Malbog by following a path, i clicked on the meat pile, killed it with ease, got epic gloves along with other items, there are youtube vids on the path, i already have the mount, not sure if it drops in this method of access? but the loot looked like what i usually got before getting the mount.
- the covenent NPC popo was up, for the escort and chance at mount, the player i used had no SL cov, so i could not do any of the escort/summons
- rares or event rares are not marked on mini or full map, but will be at usual spots if up
beast warrens
- was able to ride into the area and not get fear locked to death made it to the maw (maybe due to actions done by main years ago?)
- day three while there, did see some ?? level player with 54000K HP getting feared alot.
- daily rares were there but not star marked on mini map
- one of the hunts was up, marked on map but not the hunt for the Mawsworn Soulhunter mount (no lvl req to learn) i did not do the hunt.
maw
- daily rares were there but not star marked on mini map
- there are red text announcements, not sure if we could get the fallen charger mount
- perdition hold had the cov assault not marked and no quest from green quest NPCs
- tormentors of torgast was marked on map, went there, event is still broken i think Jun 23 is one year still not fixed
- the up port to oribos showed usueable, i did not take
- did not test torgast entrance
demontraen went in no issues with a 20 druid, elites were scalded to 20.
rift looted a rift key somewhere, was able to go into the alt version of all the maw zones
- zovaals vault found it and dragged it to the spot, was able to open, got a collapsing riftstone, there are two toys available from looting the chest
that req 11+ to learn jailer's cage and personal ball and chain
- able to loot riftbound caches marked on map

i rode all the way back to korthia to continue the questline which then unlocks the FP to the maw, but it's only one way, i finished the questline at the refuge and was ported to SW to do one more brief zone

alot of pets for hunters to be tamed that we normally would not have access to.

my hunch was right

using another player i tested leaving a lorewalking campaign area, eredath zone. i went to dalaran to test portal to argus and could not use. went to lorewalker cho in ORG, selected continue option and my player is put on a bench next to cho, was not ported near quest area to continue, used exit dismount arrow, went back to dalaran still could not get to argus.

i had to exit the lorewalking quest and select cho's start over option

make sure you are in the right time, even when i was in DF time i had issues, go to chromie and have her put you in present time which still showed me in DF time when looking at dungeon finder. the item i needed to loot with red text req level 45 was no longer there and could loot to proceed

another hint. if you start in the campaign and you are the only one there maybe see 1-2 others. you are most likely in the wrong time. after i did the chromie reset netherstorm had like 20+ players

new discovery when sent to oribos for the quest lorewalking: the brokers, or on the insider trading and things best kept dark, you can use the drop down port that for our levels usually takes us in torgast. we are now dropped into the maw. mobs are scaled to you. way earlier access. used oribos up port, was not booted out of the campaign able to continue if you want to.

Went to Eredath to see if FPs in the zone work, couldn't find any.
The Vindicar won't move to any other zone too. F2P.
 
confirmed killing the rares that are unmarked for us can add to credit or completion of achieves in the maw zones

a level 20 in the zone just completed these achieves, not sure if all were done or finished what a main never fully completed?

shadowlands wormhole generator i used a player with eng, when i arrived in oribos, i activated the toy, the maw option was there, selected maw, and it worked.

if you go to SL time, do the skips or what every takes to select a COV, back to chromie to go back to present time, when you get to korthia you can do the COV escort/summons. i selected kyrian was able to do popo escort to summon wild worldcracker. not sure if the turn in item for a mount drops and of the NPC appears at the base to get forsworn aquilon i have the mount along with those below already

if at our level the mounts can be obtained, you can COV change as needed for chance at forsworn aquilon, lord of the corpseflies (from a hatching corpsefly egg), summer wilderling all show no lvl req

maelie the wanderer not sure if this is possible (i may not see her anymore), you have to find her 6 times to get reins of the wanderer, i also do not see npc tinybell at the base

i got a 20 warrior to korthia to gain access to south most area called the vault of secrets, i was able to get there using herioc leap to get to a unused land area where you can jump or glide down. you can return to base using the fraywinged transporter or glide to seekers quorum forum

on a druid i could not make it up, so i jumped towards vault of secrets area and died, i was put at a GY there.

i went there to see if the egg was up that brings rare reliwik the defiant which can drop garnet razorwing mount. egg was not up today

Could you please specify what you exactly did? When getting to the Vindicaar and interacting with the flight master, it just says something like "you havent discovered any other flight points yet". So I cannot leave the Vindicaar to Eredath or the other two zones of Argus again. How did you manage to learn all flight points in Argus? Pure f2p if that matters. Thanks in advance

Note: this comes with significant irreversible changes currently that may or may not be undesirable.

To clarify, there are two skips in SL. The first is when you take the "A Chilling Summons" quest and you skip the Maw if you've done it before (on that bnet account). That one is fine.

But once you get to Oribos you go speak to Bolvar and can take a second skip. That unlocks WQs, the flight paths and covenants. BUT it also sets dungeon loot to level 50+. I've seen reports that Blizzard considers this a bug but it's a low-priority item to fix.

Why does this matter? Because you can't get the https://www.wowhead.com/item=178769/infinitely-divisible-ooze and, depending on the season, it affects your ring options. If a dungeon is in the M+ rotation for this season, you can use the https://www.wowhead.com/item=213777/magnificent-jewelers-setting on any neck or ring that drops from that dungeon to add 2 sockets to it.

You need to be a paid account for this because it comes from Khaz Algar JC, which you're too low level to get, or you have to have them traded to you or you can buy them from the AH.

So far we had Necrotic Wake in M+ for S1 and Theater of Pain for S2. The S3 rotation was just revealed and includes Halls of Atonement and Tazavesh. Tazavesh probably isn't useful because it's otherwise level 25 minimum.
 
I have players who have done the full skips. able to farm rings from ToP and for necks get them open world DF.

The stuff i have posted in this thread other than one 10 using 56/70 gear are from four 20s in 84 thru 96 gear with some enchants that are not even best and even missing some. 20s are disposable, do not have ooze, are doing just fine in the zones.

i agree if you plan on building a bing bing wahoo twink do not use it

as a vet20 i have gotten stuck on the ships, that why on this event i did not chance going there. my players show all FPs unlocked. on this lore walking on the last quest for the area there is a FP nearby, i used it to go to the city center FP, but when i got there i could not use that one, i rode to another FP and could not use, i had to ride back to quest turn in to leave eredath and not mess up the lorewalking campaign

i recommend leaving a player in the area to farm that eredath area for what ever you can get, if you can get to the other two zones of argus use other 20s and leave them there. recommend guardian druids, i have also used hunters, BM monk and a fury with the only issue being not having stealth and having to deal with more mobs
 
I noticed if you are in chromie time, Eredath mobs show as ?? lvl 45 but you also hit like a truck, making mobs easier to kill compared to present time.

I didn't spend more time in chromie time, and I'm not sure how that affects lorewalking quests, farming mobs, looting chests, and completeing achivements.
 
if you are in chromie option to put you in present time the mobs are scaled to you, for me as a 20 they show 20/22, i have now issues killing them. the chests req 45 in eredath, you will not get the WQ rewards shown

i just got a kill on fallen charger in the maw, two trash items no mount, caught up with it before a bridge to the tremaculum

Rep for SL is account wide. Hunts are per player, so each player you get there would add 525. Rares in maw and i think beastwarrens give venari rep. Rares are not star marked. You will have to use a guide that has a map of rares. Rares can be farmed daily for rep

not sure, i believe the rares in korthia may give the archivists codex rep?

i got that message for the lich king one which i thought was odd that TWW was req
