Looking for help regarding signatures

Hey. So this post is more directed to those who have experience creating sick signatures and are willing to sit down with me to kind of teach me how to make them well for myself.

I know this takes a lot of work and Isn't something you probably can just pick up, but It's something that generally interests me and I'd like to learn how to do it. I have ideas already of specific custom signatures I'd like to make.

I can't stress enough, Im not looking to hire anyone to make these for me. I am looking for someone who generally wants to sit in a discord call or whatever and teach me the ways

This would be anything like adding buttons that direct links straight to my characters armorys / possibly (single/duo) character art photos

At the bottom you can select to "Use display styling for:" and choose any of your badges/titles or w/e they are called.

When you say adding buttons, do you want just links like I have in mine? Or images that also link?

No I understand links etc, I was more leaning towards what @Fat Al 's idea of signatures

That is the image he was using the other day in an XPOff post he made. The general look of it just kind of inspired ideas into my head. Being able to say, make an image button of my own character, making it a link inside of a button.

As you can imagine theres many ways it could look and go but to generally understand how to do these things would be awesome. I just don't know where to start and everything online just seems like a big scam.

I suggest to open your signature as a code and turn off that editor.
All text here (and signature) is writen in "BBcode".
You can learn it really fast, for example - if you want some text bold, you add [ B ] in front of that part, and [ / B ] behind that text (without spaces), so you get Bold text
You can change color, size, font, etc. You have to read some websites about BBcode, but only the things in [ ] are different. Takes a little time.
If you want text with color transitions, like I do, use https://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer
Just copy code from BBcode window (not HTML)

np man - I believe FatAl's sig is made in code too. I can't really remember exact code but I think it can be something like this:
[ "command to have it centered" ] ( [ URL= "armory link" ] [ link to image ] [ /URL ] ) <-more times [ "end of centered text" ]
And added spoiler for F2Ps and P2Ps

no you don't.
make a circle in photoshop, double click that layer to open style options and press things until you like the way it looks.

example of what fast editing 3 circles (ish) without anything extra could give you.

Rest resides with brushes patterns fonts and some form of an idea.
Find pictures you like, rip parts of them and twist them to do your will.
Just like being a warlock m8!

Also youtube is an endless ocean of knowledge.



Yea most of the times endup using it one way or another.
Gimp is cool but in the end you will endup with photoshop so why not start with it.

Do enjoy Analog Efex Pro 2, Color Efex Pro 4, HDR Efex Pro 1 & 2 but that is more in regards for editing photos and not this kinda of mishmash. all of them are not free but there are ways ofc.

Most of it is the interaction between layers and color hue. Better to not have any ideas at start. Just dive in to it with 0 clue and see where the river takes you. Enjoy the ride.

As for adding picture + url together in to signature:
Your signature images are limited to total of 256kb. you can add images and link them to armory.

• upload the picture you like.
• Left click on mouse and select it.
• Press "link" in tooltip while having picture selected.
  
• Add desired url

Should endup like so.
