so me and a few dudes have been sitting here for close to 3 and a half hours after we killed logrosh and he still hasnt spawned yet, i thought the timer was 1 hr 30mins??

Nope. We are talking about respawn time. Not corpse despawn.

He can spawn at times between 1 hour 13 min and 3 hours. I've farmed him quite a lot. I've found some ( not all ) specific times he spawns. Here they are with how many times I've caught him at each. ( Note: he seems to round up to the next minute. ie if he was killed at 9:42:31, it will count as 9:43 )
1 hour 13 min - 4 times
1 hour 15 min - 6 times
1 hour 26 min - 2 times
1 hour 30 min - 2 times
1 hour 34 min - 5 times
1 hour 42 min - 3 times
1 hour 57 min - 2 times
2 hours 25 min - 2 times
2 hours 45 min - 2 times
3 hours - 1 time
I'm fairly confident with this list. I AFK or play my 2nd account and tab over when each of these intervals pass. I'm missing some times past the 2 hour though.
It is also important to note that depending on how many people are in the area, blizzard has a system that will automatically change which realms you are phased with for population balance. On multiple occasions, me and my group have noticed being switched phases without changing our party leadership or anything. So the time you guys waited over 3 hours was probably because your phase got changed.

What i'm saying is that it despawns so fast you can be alt-tabbed for a minute and miss it.
Many a time I've killed him and watched him despawn as someone was sitting in the cave AFK the entire time. They wouldn't know. There's literally no notification unless you catch my damage on your combat log, or if he has some kind of aggro text when he attacks. That'd be in the chat box, I guess. But spawn-dead-gone is easily missed if you're hopping.

Nope. I have killed him a few times today. One realm only. Minimum respawn time - about 85 minutes.
I do not get this AFK story. Every person who even starts to hunt rares in sane matter installs add-ons for that. There are at least two major addons popping sounds and visual clues when they notice rare around. You do not even need to notice him. Addons scan the area. This is really not a rocket science.

You don't seem too bright or able to understand things well. "Every person" in a game of millions is beyond moronic to say.
What does that have to do with anything? So your minimum respawn was 85 minutes... they person claimed they waited 3.5 hours.
What does your response have to do with ANYTHING? All I said was that it "goes away real quick once killed" (since you're illiterate) and if you're not paying attention, OR ON ANOTHER REALM AT THE TIME you could easily not notice if someone killed it, looted it, and the corpse DESPAWNED.
Not disappeared randomly. DESPAWNED after being killed. I have seen people FROM THIS FORUM AFK in that cave.
Before, during, and after he was killed.

Take a chill pill dude. I have killed him 10 times yesterday. With addon popping sound in my living room. The second he pops I got sound. Even if someone else killing him I would hear notification sound while reading a book. What part you do not get?
We talk about his respawn timer, not people not killing him when he is up because they haven't noticed him. My first post was about respawn time in response to your post about respawn time. Contrary to people who killed him you said that it's shorter (because they were afk and haven't noticed him). I said: nope, addon will notify about rare even in afk mode. Just edit your posts to show us that you were right from beginning, lol.

You don't have a f clue how to farm rares. Jeez. It's 2019, not 2004. We have addons.
