Pretty sure he meant BiS mage for arcane/frost which is pure versa and aurora items.

I feel you man, maybe he wants to try something different instead of spamming arcane missiles.

Tbh, arcane PVP has always pretty much been a glass cannon nuke machine.

From Blast being OP....to Barrage being OP...to missiles being OP.

Really it's a mix. Blast is more damage sustained, and its more damage in that instant, but it's less damage back to back in a kill window because of the initial cast time. Personally I prefer to throw a couple blasts into someone until I get a missile proc, then focus blast + missile proc barrage a healer to put them on the back foot / create pressure. Missiles definitely has its use, but all these 1 button wonder mages that have flooded the lower brackets make me a little sick. It's predictable, it's pre healable, and it tells everyone on the team your exist position and that you're gonna be standing still for the forseeable, not to mention it's absurdly easy to kick.

First one 5 mins, 2nd an hour but that's not the norm lol
Plan for a good 30 hours from what I've seen. Bring a dot class and group up, it's much faster.

Pure F2P should be similar, minus a few items. Good luck out there!
