whats the average ilvl at 59? how much higher than base can it be twinked for bg’s?

For ipvp, is the ilvl 87 greens bis for currently attainable gear? For instance, the Darkcrest gear for plate... I have a 59 ret paladin im trying to gear strictly for BGs.

Yes 87 ilvl is BiS
Aswell as engineering helmet and 200 ilvl trinkets

what are bg’s like with consumable buffs? is the stat template any higher for having bis as far as ilvl goes?

Not for bgs nor wpvp
59s get much higher ilvl and they get socket gear from BC dungeons

what about plate helm? the plate engi helm requires level 62 or something.


can we 59’s farm scaled versions of purples like the 39’s and 49’s?
i tanked both a bc and a classic dungeon all loot was ilvl 65 or something. havent tried a cata dungeon yet but is the scaling the same?

That sounds about right to me and yes that is what the BIS is if y’all want I can make a guide on BIS for each class
