If you like PvP then F2P has never been as competitive as it is now with set stats in bgs and arena.
Some people also enjoy the limitations.

It has certainly dropped in quality, but I am still enjoying myself.
As for gearing, there's no real need to gear, just get a full plate set (even whites)

F2P specifically and how they do vs 29s yes, probably the best in years. There's very little reason to be a vet or pay for this game to play in 20-29.

Twinking and BG templates in general, eh. Its OK.

Not really. CC is close to irrelevant with how damage is currently scaled and so there's very little you can really do in terms of making plays to keep games interesting.

I've been playing a little on these past couple of weeks, the games were ok, but to be fair, its not what a competitive person would enjoy the most. That with the reason that you can literally win almost every game if not all of them. Tried arenas as well, same stuff. You play with friends, you kill everyone you're facing.
I say, this is the best opportunity to reunite and organise some arena matches using different comps, so that we could add some quality into our tastes as well. And when the TC is over we could also do some 10v10, cause why not ?!

Notice everyone on this thread said its enjoyable with a group, its terrible now. Prems are worse than they have ever been, purely running OP comp 5 mans has ruined the bracket (talking to all 29s and anyone from SAGY)
