Are https://www.wowhead.com/item=59065/sparkproof-gloves?ilvl=25 a good hand option for leather users ?

I did not get them in game but wowead shows a neat 17 secondaries on thoses hands compared to the standard 5 on double sockets BC hands. Even with no sockets available it does seem competitive if not better than BC standard stuff.

In the same idea, is https://www.wowhead.com/item=37033/manual-of-the-tides?ilvl=25 a good alternative for https://www.wowhead.com/item=158322/aureus-vessel?bonus=4777:1473&ilvl=25 ? Basically trading a socket for 6 extra secondaries !

Gloves look solid, I'll add them. Manual isn't that great because of the stats. You don't really want more crit over a socket that gives int.

Since @Conzil told me that through clever usage of game mechanics we can now farm socketed ilvl25 blues from all pre-50 bfa dungeons rather than just atal and freehold, I'll add them soon. There are many so it will take some time as it's a very boring process.

Other possible way without Jewelcrafting to get +3 main stat (STr, INT, and AGL) as well as a +3 Stamina or +3 Critical Strike gems can drop from the Bag of Fishing Treasures from doing the Marcia Chase Northend daily. (RNG but I have had it happen a few times; including ones I could not use on my class.)
