Level 16 rogue - level her to 19?

Hey guys. I've haven't played my twinks in quite some time. I'm looking for an opinion.

So I have this level 16 rogue Atranavitas @ Drenden - Community - World of Warcraft

But I understand that the level gap now provides a much bigger disadvantage than it used to. Is there any point to keeping her at level 16 for the lulz and stats scaling or do you think I should level her to 19?

To complicate matters, I already have an excellent 19 rogue...Skanktmonius @ Drenden - Community - World of Warcraft

I only made the 16 cause I had some BiS 16 BOE rogue gear lying around at the time and was bored. So the only real reason to play the Atranavitas at 19 would be for the change in appearance. But if she's totally gimp at 16, then she'd be even more pointless.

Thoughts and opinions?

There's literally no benefit (in my eyes) to stay at any other level besides 19 strictly for BG's/Skrims now that all gear scales to certain ilvls. Only reason why 10 twinks exist is because of the OP secondary stat scales outside of BG's. Staying 16 is a gimp if anything, no kick. But seeing as you already have a 19 rogue I guess it doesn't really matter.

No point in leveling your 16 honestly unless you're that into the gfd xmogs.


I personally never level twinks because it's so crazy easy to remake toons now. I'd just play Skank and keep your 16 at 16 just in case.

OK so if I did that would a 20 rogue with enchants etc. be able to compete in the F2P bracket given all the level 24s who play there now? I'm curious if I could touch a 4k hp FC even with enchants.

It's the 20-29 bracket now. As someone mentioned gear scales no matter what level. At 20 you'd be missing out on glyphs, sprint, and gouge.

Not what I meant. With the nerf to movement stacking, p2p 20 rogue is pretty good.
