Let's make 3.2 patch day TWINK PRIDE DAY!

Isn't it ironic how we ended up with the name twink. How suitable that name is. For years we have been despised, having players demand our very existence be ended. And why? All because they didn't want to get with us and go twink on twink, and were horrified by the idea of twink on non-twink action ;)



I'm suggesting we all get together to make the 3.2 patch day an official twink pride day, where we come out, show that we're still here, still twinking, and laugh at anyone who's still against us, proving that we're not the losers here, by simply saying "OMG you're pathetic. You're still whining?" then enjoying the smug satisfaction, as they finally SHUT THE HELL UP, because they've got NOTHING left to bitch about.



Maybe we could arrange a bunch of all twink premades (Spam the LFG channel!), do some twink recruitment drives, boost swaps, whatever.



Fill trade with something like:

Join us for twink only BGs, boost swaps for those items you would have dinged trying for, and best of all the smug satisfaction that Blizzard acknowledges our right to exist, and the whiners no longer have a good reason to whine!



Roll a new alt and level it to 19, and we'll all come out together!



(Probably not a good idea to mention HARDCORE TWINK ON TWINK ACTION!)

LOL I like and agree with your post, but twink pride day and saying we exist is putting outselves on the whiners level. I for one don't want to be showy about no so and try to prove things. Just my opinion twink premades will be fun tho.
 
Well the least we can do is get the word out that 19 BGs for the non-twinks will no longer be the metaphorical equivalent of walking into a gay bar, where they'd expect to be gang-banged.



I do feel inclined to rub it in the whiner's faces, seeing as they pretty much put this change back years, by not joining us to promote the idea, instead carrying on with their whining, and derailing every single thread where the idea was brought up.



Hopefully if we can finally lose the stigma attached to being a twink, we'll be able to recruit more into the twink guilds, and keep the numbers up.

Btw for all of you who dont know Twink is another word for a fag.
 
That's the point. Maybe it's because I'm English, but irony and camp humor involving double-entendres and innuendo comes naturally.
 
I hope you all know the word Twink is shortened from Hostess Twinkies...

"The term "Twinkie" was used in Everquest in 1999, where players could acquire a bronze plate armor that could be equipped by lower level characters. Er...That's been the point of twinking for awhile now. And in fact they're taking it away from us due to the 20-minute cap load of crap.



The only thing to do now is World PvP and Arenas. Much better imo :)

I have a very strong feeling that they will add rated arenas for every bracket to make up for it. strong feeling...
