I have no idea if this'll interest anyone, I just figured I'd post my stats after a bit of a mess around.

So I've picked up the complete set of Legion gear from the invasion events on my 29 and have compared them to what was actually my better set used for both inside and outside of bg's (minus neck and rings). I thought I'd post a pic of my stats with the legion gear compared to my gear containing ilvl37 bg gear.

Outside of bg's my stats are clearly better with my gold set, giving me hp of 4800 for anyone interested compared to the 4344hp the Legion set gives. I use my gold set for my duelling and pve.

Inside bg's though the Legion set actually tops it slightly giving me 5784hp over the 5760hp I get with my gold set.

Admittedly it's only after I took these screenshots that I realized that inside the bg's I was using stats without the BiS necklace and second BiS ring for the gold set but I'm not sure how much it'd improve it. I'll check up on it. I'm aware the Legion gloves are part of my gold set too, they became my BiS when I got them.

I'm not sure what else has changed but I used to get capped at 5468hp or something similar. It didn't matter what I changed, rings, neclace, even Mist Piercing Goggles over my heirloom helm, I'd still get capped there. So to be over that now is a little weird but it goes to show that the Legion gear is good for bg's as well as good for a sick look :) So unless you're hardcore and wanting you're BiS more then I'd say this Legion set is a perfectly good set to go with for bg's. It gives me plenty enough anyways, but each to their own of course.

Maybe have a play around ^^ was just bringing it to light for if you hadn't

I've been trying to get into a bg since I posted that to get a printscreen of my stats in the gold set with BiS neck and rings but I haven't had a pop since. Also Durotar is completely empty, my entire guild is having the same issue. We can all stand out there but nobody can see one another. Keeps saying people are defeating each other in duels too but there's nobody there!

I've opened a ticket to ask if it's bugged. Bit of a pain. Bg's were fine this morning
 
Ok so finally a bg popped and as you can see even with the BiS neck and rings involved in the gold set, the only difference is +1 armor. There's absolutely no change to HP either. This Legion set kicks some serious ass

Stats aren't much different at all. Don't get me wrong, BiS is BiS. But eh, to lazy. :p

Not sure, I can test this for you and post another shot but it seems weird that the "BiS" rings and necklace add +1 armor to me if that's the case

Nope. Itemlvl rings and necks are still BIS.
 
So here's the gear with the heriloom neck and an ilvl37 ring and the stats have gone down again. Not by much but they have gone down, so I'm not sure reporting's on these items no longer being BiS are correct

I have no idea why then but as you can see, there's no buffs and the only enchant I have is Crusader which I got since you mentioned enchants simply for the sake of dueling... My HP is still the same as I said it was before? So no idea why it's not the same

it's still just ilvl and wearing gear for your class. you went up 1 ilvl break point with the rings and neck.

trinks rings and back aren't effected as they don't have an armor type. bg gear has a higher ilvl than legion gear making it slightly better (and cheaper to repair).

This is inside a bg with 6 pieces of ilvl37 bg gear equipped and the stats are exactly the same as with just the legion gear on. The repair cost isn't an issue for me. I'll stick with the kickass set :)

Those are some nice out of pvp stats you got there :) I think I need to work on a set for outside a bit really, some duels are cut far too close lol. But I can only assume there's a cap of some sort on it all for your stats to be so similar to mine with all that gear on in bg's. I'm not quite sure. But either way I think it's such a kickass set to the point where if the changes really are so minor after putting so much effort into getting that BiS gear i think I might just stick with the Legion stuff anyways.

For now it seems like a v easy way to gear, maybe blizz will nerf it a bit. We'll have to wait and see :)
