Legion Remix Overview (Level 20)

started yesterday evening, i went with 20 NE guardian druid for insta flight form, better que times. i ignored all the roll a DH videos, imo that is for the players going max and M+ types

i have a full leech set for quests and dungeons. as in MOP Rem i have a full speed set which is needed for LFR to keep up with max level players as their power comes up and it's a fast blow thru. still stay tank for the faster pops.

did follow the quides on going imto twisted crusade / fel tree on art wpn. i need 7 more spots and for neck/trinket slots
- neck and a trinket that have touch of malice and fel touched
- ring and trinket that have i am my scars

my druid now feels somewhat like a 10, i can pull alot of trash with ease

early into remix, you are given a reusable elixir to see herb/mine nodes, imo with a druid this is a insanely fast way to get infinite power and you gain stats doing it. druid tank in FF can hover doing this, rare aggro i did not get unFF/dismounted,

i just added over 60K to my weapon which is now maxed with the final felspike talent. i was doing it in suramar. i was queing dungeons at same time in this farm but noticed after a few runs i was getting more and faster herb/mining. so i quit doing dungeons

fastest dungeon to specific que is the three boss Maw of Souls, the last boss fight has been redone and is super easy

tomorrow (day 3 for me) i will start class hall, campaign and zone quests. should be a breeze now,

I found an interesting quest for warriors to farm bronze.

https://www.wowhead.com/quest=43090/ulduars-oath

All of the elites drop a good number of bronze and there's a fair bit of them to kill. You take the quest, jump down into Ulduar then start grouping up the elites and killing them (can't do more than a room at a time since they will reset). Once you get to the room before pulling the chains to open the door to the next area you just abandon the quest and you'll be teleported out back to Skyhold. Reset instances and then retake the quest.

Doing this start to finish takes me about 5 minutes and yields around 1500-1700 bronze.

For anyone unsure, it's the https://www.wowhead.com/beta/item=254320/elixir-of-remembered-sight and it's sold by the Innkeeper in the Eternus area.

You won't get far in the order hall campaign before you need to be level 30.

For the 5 base zones, there are two achievements of interst. The various Campaign: <Zone> achievements will give you +10% XP ffor all toons (I'm at +130% now, not including my Warband +25%). The other is Lorerunner, which requires the Campaign achievement and Sojourner (ie the side quests). Each Lorerunner gives +1 Infinite Knowledge.

I'm honestly not looking forward to doing the Suramar campaign, side quests and Insurrection again. I've only done them in legacy to get an allied race (Nightborne I think?) and they were a time sink.

talked to another 20 druid, stopping point in class hall campaign, quest to do 10 world quests

in 5 min.... herb/mine you can exceed 1500-1700 bronze by a landslide

yesterday i solo nythendra in the emerald nightmare normal whit the "im my scars!" trait as druid tank ill try to complete the raid i think is doable

update
ursoc overwhelm skill stacks and is unavoidable for me it was impossible to solo

im a vet and have the teleport to cenaion unlocked on my acc so i could pass even whit out killing ursoc

in the Xavius figure around 60% mind control and insta kill me =(

all others fight are quite simple

I tried out Legion Remix for like an hour or two on Tuesday, got bored pretty fast and haven't played since. Probably doesn't help that I have done the legion campaign like a hundred times previously.

If it's true that we cant even get super OP at 20 like before, even with everything maxed out, I honestly have little to no interest in this mode. That was the only fun part about MoP Remix to begin with.
It certainly doesn't make me want to resub, and I'm way past the point of giving a squat about more recolored cosmetics, I dont need more mounts and outfits at this point.

Not trying to yuck anyone's yum, but this was a swing and a miss for me.
Blizzard tried to stop twinking, but luckily they don't know the game. There is still one way to be extremely powerful, even better than in Pandaria. You just need to create a monk. I think this is the only viable class by far because of Touch of Death (scaling with HP). I'm literally one-shotting bosses in heroic dungeons with 170% hp of normal dungeon boss after maybe 14 hours of gameplay. In Pandaria, I think it took longer to get to this point, maybe 22 hours. And a really great thing is that they added raids for level 20, and I think it's realistically possible to get to the point where you can one-shot raid bosses in ~70 hours of gameplay. This should be possible as they have ~6x the HP of HC dungeon bosses. One great thing is that after killing a boss, all cooldowns are reset, including Touch of Death, so you can one-shot another boss right away with no waiting time. You couldn't do that in Pandaria Remix, so there is big potential. In the dungeon, the tricky part is that Touch of Death has a 3-minute cooldown, but there is an ability that gives 1000% cooldown regeneration for 3 seconds, so you can skip the 30-second cooldown. There is also a weapon talent, the last one before you reach level 80, that gives another 100% cooldown regeneration for 10 seconds. Combining these two abilities gives you a really powerful thing. I don't know exactly how it works, but it gives you 90 seconds of cooldown reduction on Touch of Death, so now it's only a 1.5-minute cooldown. You can run to the first boss, one-shot him, use spells to skip the 90-second cooldown, and run to the next boss. You have a super large amount of health, so you don't care about trash. Just run to the next boss. You can attack trash while running, and after reaching the second boss, you should have another Touch of Death. For the third boss, you should have your spell cooldown ready to drop your Touch of Death cooldown just before the boss. If the dungeon has a fourth boss, you need to kill it manually, which is much slower, or just wait ~45 seconds. If you want to use this strategy, start with the tank weapon, as you need to complete quests to unlock the others. They're not very long, but this will save you time. Do the repeatable blue quest from the dragon and complete the normal dungeons repeatedly. Tank is the most OP because it gives you 45% stamina. Also, remember to use the item that gives you a 4% stamina boost. This buffs does not scale additively with your artefact stamina percentage buffs; it scales multiplicatively, which makes it overpowered. Take the class talents that give the most speed, such as Tiger's Lust and increased roll distance. You can also skip the cooldown, making it even more powerful. That's all I can think of. :)

i dont think youll reach raid boss hp in 70 hours
If you do though, or even in 150 hours or so, please post about it.

It's a lot more HP, and a lot of your stam increase tapers offs, because the big stam jumps were coming from the artifact traits more than anything else.

Oh sir you're a genius, creating a monk god now.

so I know that as a trial account we can only que for Emerald Dream raid on LFR in remix, but if we just fly to the entrance and walk in is it on normal?

ok..ty

I have a level 20 druid F2P he has 402k HP I've maxed everything apart from stamina which il keep doing, (Vigolfr-ArgentDawn)
I've used no exploits or anything just doing dailies and farming instances etc

earlier like two hours ago a level 20 monk called Spinboy came up to me showing off their ilvl 731 artifact level, he mentioned about storing the artifacts in the bank but how when they are soul bound....I've been working my socks off since it started to collect everything

his name is spinboy-Argentdawn...is this an exploit? il share the screenshots

how is is happening is this cheating?

he then started calling me a noob as I said this is impossible to do and he got seriously toxic

I've played 55hours since this remix started then this clown comes along and ruins everything with cheating, when did F2P become a bunch of cheats and exploiters?

Update: 10.57am UK time

I got a response from a GM and told me to send an email to hack@blizzard.com with the screenshots of this player and what he said - seems this remix is full of cheats and exploiters when this remix is meant to be easy- shows how bad the player base on WoW is...… but no surprise from the mog Spinboy is using, the wetwipe
Welcome to the world of twinking, where a few toxic fruits help maintain the bad image of twinking in the game! Enjoy your stay :PepeComfy:

More seriously, it has been "patched" in the way it's no longer obtainable. Still waiting on the fix that will revert or cap the weapon with level that should come soon but is harder to implement.

You're wondering first if it's cheating then directly go on generalizing to f2ps being a bunch cheaters and exploiters, without having the info on what's happening, that's quite a jump no? Moreover with the character in question being on a battlenet having subbed accounts and paid for the lattest expansion, that's not very F2P :FrogeTorch:

I never said you lot were I asked a question hence the ? mark, when did they, but anyways I didn't mean any offence by it as I used to know some very good F2P people a few expansions back but thanks for welcoming me to the site much appreciated

joining any guilds on AD is a big NO I've seen the state some people are on this realm in trade chat etc and as soon as remix is over I'm moving realms

Well shit someone already broke Remix.

From your screenshots and other folks saying, the ilvl cap for the weapon seems to be 95 right ?
Depending on how this exploit works it might very well be the only way for trial accounts to get an infinite power scaling and be as OP as we were in MoP Remix.

About that "when did F2P become a bunch of cheats and exploiters?", well, I'd say most of us dabbled more or less into exploits but only a few use them to an extent that is nefarious to other players. I personnaly don't enjoy them but even then I have tried some from time to time, if only to give it a shot and forget about it. A lot of f2p get some tenders from messy coding in blizz's trading post, there was for a time an exploit with goblins and warbank that allowed trading on trial accounts, some ilvl 155 bug some time ago and I'm not mentionning all of them. Well, not all those I know of of, there's more than likely a lot more I never even knew existed.
That brings me to a second point : there is a lot of secrecy around exploits for trials/vets. Basically most exploits become public knowledge far later than they've been discovered because, well, they might be patched and exploiters want to get maximum benefit from the exploit. There is some validity in that a lot of folks use exploits without consideration for others (example : the ilvl 155 folks queuing into dungeons and even BGs if memory serves) and that gets the explots patched far faster.
There is some validity to the idea of keeping exploits a secret, there is some validity in wanting them more available to the community and there is some validity to not wanting them at all, it's a complicated subject. That said I believe that making them more available can be a good thing as long as there is no abuse and nobody suffers from someone else's idea of "fun" but it relies on decency which some folks have none of and ruin some potentially great things for everyone cuz they need an ego boost.

So yeah sad as is can be to you to see that guy overpowering you by a mile by cheating (and him being a douchebag as well) that stuff happens, you can have your fun without them (at least I have for pretty much all of my time on WoW) so please don't feel like this person represents all of us. We're a quiet bunch so any loudmouth asshole will stand out.
(Btw, chill out mate, 55 hours in a week cannot be healthy, watch out for yourself ^^)

(Oh and btw, almost nobody that uses exploits does so for a lack of skill, from my experience it's either for fun or to speed up long and uninteresting grinds)
