interesting thanks. thats a bit less time than i thought. so itd be like 6 hours a day for a week if you could loot EN over and over, but since you can only run it once a day it actually would take several weeks..just not that much actual played
How are you all doing lfr? It doesn't work for me. I just keep getting the "Someone has declined the invite. You have been returned to the front of the queue" message that other's have reported. I had assumed it was universal for everyone sub lvl 80.
are the boss HP pools higher in LFR vs normal? today i ran normal solo for the first time with a monk who is at 13/36 and shows +53000 stam from infinite knowledge. on character icon i show 967K hp. i was able to one shot xavius, in LFR because people are on him so fast and hp is chopped i usually get my ToD off when it is at 60-80% and finish it off,
on normal, on the eye boss i took it down normally and saved ToD for the boss inside, if LFR i have used ToD on the eye but when it's at around 50-60% even when ToD is showing ready prior because the eye seems to always hang on with like 5% or less HP
Yeah the LFR healthpools are higher, and by a fair margin. Normal Xavius is like 900k, but LFR Xavius is 1500k
Touch of Death deals 100% of your health in damage, but it seems to be usable when the target has 101% of your health remaining; so they'll be left with some life left if you use it as early as possible.
The secret mount Fathom Dweller & its corresponding Hungering Claw pet can be obtained by f2p. The last part of the chain where getting the quest to kill Kosumoth will not pop up for us, which I believe requires higher level, but after doing the 10 orbs attunement, the mount + pet will now show up at the Infinite Bazaar vendors for purchase.
A potential complication I ran into was at the 7th Orb, which the guide didn't mention. There was a ?? level mob guarding the orb with the kind of insane HP (~120M) we will not be able to kill, but fortunately I was able to CC it to get to the orb. For any other orbs that have something guarding it, they scale to our level so no problems there.
The chain can also be done in retail with Lorewalking enabled. The guarding mobs will scale to your level. The Elite banshee at the second orb will still hit very hard though.
for the more protected orbs i used death and ghost run/res to advance and click orbs, had to do this back in legion, had to do this again on a 10 in LW mode awhile back also. on the banshee i timed her path and was able to zip to orb with a druid
How did you guys manage to click the orb before getting killed by the frog? I tried the res + click trick but cannot beat latency before getting oneshot.
Edit: Okay he's pretty slow. You can outrun him if you have Timerunning buff stacked 3x. However the area outside his cave is tiny and cluttered with trees, rocks, poles, unwalkable slopes. It takes some practice to kite him out of the cave and run in to loot the orb before you die (its a several second cast)
