The new numbers will make it worse than the 2.8 speed heirloom weapon for mainhand weapon damage. Rogue/prot warrior/prot pallies will want to switch back.

But its still ilvl 100 - so its a pretty solid boost to ilvl in the offhand (or dual wielding for monks). Doesn't beat a wand for anyone who has that option.

Thats not how shit works anymore (and hasn't worked since they stopped items scaling up to ilvl 24). Having a slow weapon is good, but it still takes in the weapon's damage as well. Your skills use the "weapon damage" calculation (which is different that your weapon's damage...kinda confusing but w/e) which includes speed, damage range, attack power (but thats basically the same for everyone of that spec/class), and versatility (also the same). See the theorycrafting section of the quick start guide for the full equation.

Sunstrider is still BiS, but basically unobtainable except by pissing off every GM until you find one who will let you blow them.

Next BiS is the 2.8 heirloom weapons (agi sword, str sword, agi mace).

Then comes the Warforged Invasion Axe, Sinister Scimitar, CLB PTR, Cookie's Tenderizer, Shadowfang, Jagged Mace of * (green 2.8 speed mace), then the WSG sword, THEN brushwood blade.

Also, I noticed brushwood blade doesn't so as much damage per hit as heirloom sword , about 37 less damage actually (20-29 bracket)

Wow, assass gets garote and cheap shot? With the nerf to common legion blade that might be my go to spec
Also looks like sub is playable in 20's-29 with that slow finisher! Now if only outlaw had access to gouge...
