Latency in East Asia?

I'm wondering if any of you have tried playing the EU or the US Cilent in China. What is the average latency?

I play US Servers, and i live in South East Asia.
I'm on 1.5 Mbps and i get anywhere from as low as 300ms up to 600ms.
On avg I'm on 400ish.

At the moment I'm on 378ms

Ima go try download the Eu client. How do I do that? Do I just manually download it from Eu.battle.net?

As long as your internet connection is good, you can play anywhere just fine. I live in Texas and can play in EU just fine.

It usually averages between 230-300ms on good days. It does above that quite often, though. But I think most of the blame goes to my crap ISP.

Yea, you play ok enough. But don't expect to out click other people in Flag returns or pick ups etc.

You need to remember you're versing people in the US who have 30-100ms ... I have seen US players say they have lag with 70-80 ms.
... I would LOVE 70-80ms lag ...



So TLDR: Playable: Yes.
Competitively Playable: No.

No, you just have to change some words in the files around I believe.

Go to Wow folder > WTF > Config.wtf

Then ctrl+s for the two places it says "enUS" and change them both to "enGB"

Switch them back to enUS to play the US client again.

Finaly i found u here adal , u right about that , thats a way too ... i Usualy use that way to go EU/US , well i dont acutally have any twnink on EU but my when my friend isnt there i get on EU and play with his account , Just asking is there any think to do if u have Hight latency (ms)WORLD ???

Yeah it sucks. I play in Australia ATM and have about 300-500 Latency. 600 sometimes. They should really add real oceanic servers.

Oh make this happen please. I don't live in Oz, but its a lot closer then the US servers.

Then IF that happens maybe I can finally get some flag returns or pick ups. Those US players with 30-80ms get it every time ... no matter how fast I click.

I play at 300-400ms and i'm still #1 mage and outclick the whole bracket. But in all seriousness I will fry dem broadband companies, if the ms in NZ and Oz doesn't get fixed.
