Kalu'ak Fishing Derby Win

Hmm.. well this is how I know I was not very serious about twinking till last summer..

I didn't know you could ever obtain those specific items @ 19 (if you could get all @ 19)

yeah blizz was fast on hot fixing those, especially the "demons desk" all three of those weapons were BC enchantible and useable by 19 twinks. of course any player at 19 with mongoose gets the attention of QQ players and blizz. blizz claims they don't hinder or help twinking, yet they left enti's sword for months.

I did the fishing derby on my rogue twink and caught a [item]Blacktip Shark[/item] after 40min (so no winner here). I was able to turn it in on my twink and got a [item]Bag of Fishing Treasures[/item] (no pet, head or fishing pole unfortunately) and I got 150 rep with kalu'ak. I also noticed that after I turned it in I could turn in another [item]Blacktip Shark[/item] and my guess is the reward will again be a fishing bag and 150 rep.



So for all the twink I would say start farming those [item]Blacktip Shark[/item] and get your head, fishing poles, pet, cooking recipes and eventually (if you are very persistant) [item]Nurtured Penguin Egg[/item] and [item]Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole[/item]. In order to get exalted you need 42000rep (you start at 0/3000 neutral) which equals 280 [item]Blacktip Shark[/item]'s if you never win. And every time you win on your twink you can reduce that by 33.3 sharks (if the 5000 rep from a win is correct).

I know i cant wait for the underwater breathing either!
