For gear I basically just gotta wait every week and spam run Sunwell until i get all the gear and my leggo bow, right? (hunter btw)

Nope! Go straight to the vendor in shattrah and pick up the Zul Aman vendor gear. Head to to the isle and fill in gaps with gear from the vendor by the anvil. This gives you a good starter set while your farm your BiS pieces from other raids. Don’t forget engineering for helms, and hit up some of the wraith dungeons, particularly trial of crusader for trinkets

Zul aman gear? I'm just looking for gear with gem slots in it?

Buying gear from Shattrath vendors is a good start, yes. Also if you have any marks of honor on your account there are some very good brutal pieces (namely helmets, shoulders and bracers) that you can buy in Area 52.
Of course when buying gear from the vendors you'll want to consider their stats and not which set they're from.

Sidenote: @Tzartwink a lot of people don't seem to know this, but you actually don't need to go to the Isle of Quel'danas to visit the vendor you're talking about, because there's an identical vendor right next to the Naaru one. (yes, he has always been there)

You’ll get quite a few gem slots from those vendors

Currently doing scryers rep, should i get JC for khorium choker? Also one last thing, i got engi glasses, should i pick up the pvp head instead?

You might want to consider going Aldor instead if you're planning on using http://www.wowhead.com/item=34679/shattered-sun-pendant-of-might. It procs +100 agility.
should i get JC for khorium choker?
Yeah if you want to put in the effort. It's a minor upgrade but BiS nonetheless.

Depends if you're gearing for pve or pvp, and if you're gearing for pvp it depends on how you want to build your character. I recommend getting the brutal pieces I mentioned for the resilience. A lot of people like going full damage, though.

edit: also even if you're building full damage or building for pve, coif of alleria is better than surestrike goggles

Already started on the scryers rep :/ But i doubt ill use that neck either way, probably gonna get the choker. I was just wondering if the meta socket (i think it's called? Havent seen those in a long time lmfao, makes the pvp head superior)

So you're using engineering goggles that don't even have a meta socket? snow mechanized or?
Yeah coif of alleria / brutal helmet is definitely better than whatever you're using.
