jade spirit vs power torrent for fire mage

I just bought living steel weapon chain on my fire mage (check it in sig below) and it gives 8 crit scaled, so mad i wasted 300 gold on it, just use windsong its bis cuz proc lasts twice as thunderlord.

that weapon chain scales down to such low crit its not even worth it

Mark of the Thunderlord - Spell - World of Warcraft is 33 crit for 6 seconds
while it is active, each crit has a chance to extend the duration by 2 seconds, up to 3 times so a total of 6 extra seconds
it its 2.5 RPPM

If not that then probably ele force is your best bet
Ele force may not be the best for fire at lvl20 tho cuz I don't have any fast cast attacks all my spells take >2.0 sec to cast

That won't matter much. Its proc is also controlled by time since last chance to proc, capped at 10 sec. So your slower cast will give it a better proc chance.

It's (10*(1+(haste/100))*time since last chance to proc in seconds)/60

Let's say you have 5% haste (its low you are crit stacked) and you cast every 2 seconds.

Your 2 second cast have the following chance to proc:
((10*1.05*2)/60)*100=35%

Ele force is 10 RPPM so it will proc 10 times per minute no matter the cast speed. It is only affected by haste, so if you have 10% haste it will be 11 RPPM

Ok then.... Looks like I got to save up more gold... For 3 enchants

I use Elemental Force on my 29 fire mage. I think the added dps is far greater that what Mark of the Thunder lord or any other critical strike enchant can offer. One you Pyromance one target, you jusr move on to the next. Also when I'm spamming scorch I don't feel like my dps is completely sucking when I don't get a crit. Mark of the Thunderlord gives about 6% crit, which really doesn't last long enough for me to think it's worth it.
