Where did everyone go?
The 20 bracket died so fast in Shadowlands. The endgame is even worse than BFA s4, where you at?
 
as a dozen or so people have noted in the months since prepatch, the population of 20s hasnt really grown, while the population of the 20-29 bracket tripled and got spread out over 9 maps (plus anyone playing epics)

Its gonna seem thin. But wargames are more popular than theyve been in ages, arenas seem to be building and the handful of active twink guilds are all seeing pretty consistent (if low) recruitment.

Not really sure what more you want?
 
Also might partially be due to how much stuff there is to farm now. I haven't even done a bg cuz the stuff I'm trying to get doesn't drop
 
Solo queuing is unforgiving more than it has been in the past... that is probably the issue that people notice the most.

More and more people do premade which always gives 3rd party outsiders the impression that the bracket is unplayable because you get farmed... you will never fix that... is it stupid as fuck and makes the bracket look bad... 100%... can you do anything about the uni-brows that do it?... no... so, unfortunately, its join them because you won't beat them... or wargame.

Wouldn't say it died, but queue times definitely increased. Eg, yesterday, on a weekend, in prime time, on EU Alliance, queue times were advertised as 6 min but were, de-facto, 15 min. Sometimes even longer, once they got to 28 min. They used to be 4-5 min before.

Agree about the endgame being complete trash and worse than BFA (quite an accomplishment).

On EU the queue time is also short, 3 min during weekends, 5-6 max in the rest of the days (even during the day), shorter in the evenings.

Yes, there are premades, but they are not invincible, not even the Russian ones with Putin playing 5 chars at once :D

I solo queue and I'm winning most of the games (Horde side).

Seems the reason queues are so long on my side and so short on yours is that we are on different factions. (Also, saw you in bgs. Good games. I am also queueing mostly solo, also a hunter, etc. Also winning most of the games, lol. Will wave.)

Out of curiosity, yesterday evening I have queued 2-3 seconds after a guildie and we were never in the same BG (I've checked and he was also playing, not like he did not accept the game). Sometimes I've played against full russian games, could this be a reason for more games on Horde side?

What's your main char?
 
Full Russian games are by design, small (non-epic) BGs have teams composed from servers of the same language group.

I am playing on this char, this is my first attempt at twinking, so, very under-geared, just the basics:

Gearing a new character now and will likely get updates for this one, we'll see.
 
Queues are always shorter for Horde. Two pools of players to get matched against: EU or RU Alliance.

When Alliance starts pre-mades this only increases wait time even more.
 
The truth is that its worth deserter and just logging in another toon and queuing (or just queuing two at once) to avoid a premade, that is the problem. Anybody that has these conceptions of "real players stay in no matter what"... blow it out your ass.

See Almond with 3 pocket healers tickling his nuts while he backflips around with an i49... "no thanks, nerds"... insta drop and reque.

that is what is making stuff suck the most... the games are becoming more and more pointless for both the
Premades AND the non Premaders. You are actually hoping to get a pug-stomp best case scenario.

Wargames have their own issues to... no Terts just make's BC gear the best choice in most cases... stupid shit like that... you just remove customization and can only be as good as Blizzard allows you to be cookie cutter.
