Is this game free yet?

damn, i want to twink, but somehow world of warcraft still isn't free to play, and i'm never going to give activision my money. do they even make new games that cost money anymore? you guys all need to stop paying for WoW so they're forced to finally cave and make it completely f2p.

i heard they were changing brackets back to x9, so 19s and 29s will be back again. is it true?
 
Idk if this is just me but I personally like how the f2p bracket is set up. I can't descrive what it is to me but I like how I get less than P2P. I guess I just like the challange or idk. I find it so fun to bring the most out of my limmited account. I don't want it to change.

Seriously I have only given blizz 10 bucks in the last 4 years.

I have also heard this, but you know how Blizz is. Heavens only knows if they will follow through or not.

About the Brackets, tahts true, as for wow going f2p , man.... if you think well about it, you are completely wrong.... Why ? Here is why , where would Blizz find all taht money to pay their developers/gms etc, there would be no new exspasion. Maybe WoW is going F2P in its Final content , THe legion coming to azeroth , but it may never have an end, so.... WoW isnt going to be FULL F2P!

Hey dude! Long time man, just make a char to play arenas and these weekly premades. Fuck the rest of this awful game.

I would robot you and Golden literally whatever you want, wherever you want.

Let me get my head around this... OP makes a thread wanting to know if wow is totally F2P yet, so obviously wants to play above f2p restrictions. But is still too greedy to give the 50 cents a day?

There's zero reason for Blizz to give up their millions of subs in favor of micro transactions when they can do both. The only time they will ever consider going F2P is when their subs dry up and they need to try an alternate way of bringing in the money.
 
There's still an elite group of players if you know where to look.

I think a lot of people could potentially come back if WOD is good enough. Skirmishes, random Bgs and other things could make the f2p bracket potentially better than it ever was, one can only hope.
 
what are these "skirmishes"? is it like the old arena system where sub-max level characters could queue up for arena skirmishes whenever they wanted and be automatically matched with people cross-realm? back before blizzard decided to take it out because twinks were having Too Much Fun

and when does this next expansion come out?
