There aren't any real upgrades outside of one crit/vers neck that has 2 more vers than the vday neck. but the xmogs are kinda neat.

I thought the anniversary event wasn't until November? Like from november 16th-30th? And the daily from which you get the badges is active during the anniversary as well, I guess?

Yes.

It seems like this vendor got dropped in early? I don't know. But the weapons that require a quest to buy... that quest is a "classic av" quest. I'm assuming here but this vendor is probably the vendor for the event.
 
There are some useful items here, mainly for rogues with the dps proc daggers (but the dps loss may not be made up for by the procs)

It's unfortunate that the 2h mace proc only works in AV, would have been a really cool mechanic added to help melee against casters/healers.

The vers/crit neck and the haste/vers ring offer the highest secondary stats of whats available to 20s, making it useful.

The Therazane's touch offhand offers the most int possible of any non gf'd gear, so it is useful to some degree.

Whats interested me the most is Lei of the lifegiver and the other books with the same effect. Its worded weird, and the actual effect gives the heal displayed and then after the heal/damage an additional 1 (that can crit). I don't have the time right now to test but depending on how that additional 1 works it might be an extra chance to proc wep enchants like coastal surge/ele force making it potentially good. That fact that in the combat log it says healed for x then the book/offhand healed for x is just weird.
 
As someone who's not obtained any TW Badges, is it possible to farm enough in order to purchase these items at this point?

Yes. When the anniversary event comes around, you can get... is it five badges a day? On the dailies?

Do it across multiple toons and you'll be set. The more annoying part will be farming the marks. Items cost 1-2 marks a piece.

Do they still give 200 badges in the mail? Or was that just a one time thing for the first event?

Might be worth having game time during this event if they do still send the 200.

Well let's hope they do.

The first year every toon got the same anniversary package in the mail as we normally so but there was also 200 TW badges, I cant remember if it was in the anniversary gift or if it was just in the mail with the gift.

Still have my gifts on most chars, when I was getting them earlier it was in the package. Haven't opened until today so they received 200 today.

That's what WoWhead currently has listed, but last year it was definitely:

25 badges x 15 dailies = 375 total

If the reward ends-up being reduced to "5" this time, people with hundreds of saved badges are going to be pretty pleased with themselves. :D

Are the timewarped badges not bound to the toon they're obtained on?
