EU+US Is the ilvl worth it? Anyone got actual numbers?

Looked through quite some threads, and cant figure out if the high ilvl gear is worth getting.
Does anyone have some exact numbers? If anyone is able to test a full set of ilvl 24 gear, vs an average ilvl 45-49 in a bg or arena, it would be much appreciated. Im sure others would be curious too. If you could list your main stat, stamina, and secondary stats increases that would be great!
 
on a rogue swapping from full wod set (ilvl25) to ilvl set (not full 34WF gear but doubt it'll change much if at all) you gain 1-2 agility 2-3 stamina and 1crit/haste/vers rating (not%) at 19, some classes such as casters might gain more due to wands giving insane amount of stats right now. also you gotta be wearing full set of your class' main armor type leather for druid/rogue plate for pala/warr etc to get the highest amount of stats from the template.

Is iLvL Gear worth getting, yes. Does anyone have exact numbers, many have posted SS and figured out (most) of the math of it. Has anyone tested iLvL 24 vs 40+ in Arena/BG, yes.

I'm only trying to get some pieces because down the line stats on gear might matter and I doubt there will ever be gear higher than 34 iL available to 19s ever again so I guess it's kinda worth
 
Adding the 3 pieces of good WF gear I have brought my ilvl from 42 to 43. This set includes 2x rock and pendant. I did the math and getting the rest of the WF gear would bring me up to an avg ilvl of 48. So essentially at this point I'm grinding for an additional .5% boost in stats. That number goes down if the bugged WF gear gets fixed since I have a full set of that. As Dagamela said tho if stats ever do comeback into the equation I'm assuming some pieces would still be BiS.

I guess i wont go through the effort for the extra 10 stats in total. But thanks for the information!
 
I would say to at least get the ~4 pieces that do not have mastery WF'd for wpvp/pve if nothing else. I believe that the pants are better, if so ever slightly, than boas with enchants (can't get leg enchants on a 19 from self, as far as I know).

The issue is that T5/6 Raid content, especially those with 3x Sockets are vastly superior to the Invasion Gear at 70. They provide much higher Main Stat, the #1 thing to look for in lower Level PvE if you cannot dramatically exceed the iLvL of your Character Level, which in this case is 159/164.

WPvP is a different monster altogether and you can never have too many Gearing options there.

farnk thinks the number 70 is very large... much larger than the numbers 10 or 19 ;o
so large, farnk dunno if can even find such a large number in farnk's list of all the numbers! ;o

farnk perhaps incorrect tho, farnk often incorrect about numbers ;o

numbers are hard for farnk :(
 
Every little bit adds up over time.
The real question is do you want want to half a$$ your twink or just make do with what you have.
Some or even many chose the the path of water and half a$$ their twinks. And thus their characters are not true "twinks" in the sense that the few of us that do truly try to get ALL BiS for our characters.

This coming week will offer us an unprecedented chance at getting gear in the shortest amount of time that we have never had available to us. At least in the lowest of the lower brackets. The invasions will increase yet again by 300%. That should mean that there should be an invasion up in every zone at all times and it should reset every hour. We will have some tough choices ahead. Do we gear several toons "good enough" or do we take a couple and try to gear them to perfection.
Over the last few weeks I have already geared up all my alts to "good enough" in anticipation to solely spend time on 2-3 favorites this up coming week. I hope everyone else did the same.

This is the 10-19 bracket forum, not 70, right?
