US invasion gear worth it on 70s?

Havent check ilvl but I went on my 85 and the gear you get is horrible compared to BiS you can get so I wanted to know if 70 is the same.

It's 157 iLvL at Level 70. There's not a single slot where it's superior to what you can get from T5/6 Raids from an iLvL perspective.

IF they actually drop then they'd be 167 and therefore superior iLvL. I've only ever gotten the Junkforged and +10 iLvL on my 70. The +10 iLvL is the 157.

Technically not correct as +20 is possible in at least the 90-99 Bracket. Blizzard also stated that the WF with zero Stat and zero iLvL increase is unintended and will be fixed just as soon as they can. We simply have no idea how Blizz will adjust WF, if they ever do so. Stating +10 iLvL or +20 iLvL or Junkforged is currently all we have to go on, although I'm still going to continue using 'Secretly Titanforged' because it's just that awesome.

You need to go over 184 to gain stats as a lvl70, which is impossible.

right, how do you know that 184 is the cap then? Is it the same for 79's, that actually can go beyond it?

Yes, 184 is the base ilvl for 79s and so that's what we as lvl70s need to reach as well, and they can easily go over that with the Cata gear which has ilvl 297/308.
