My bet with the McDonalds sales in europe would be the number of chains is a lot lower? In Sweden theres 3 (McDonalds, Burger King and a swe one) would make sense to me and I don't care enough to look it up
True dat
I remember visiting a Mc'Ds in France and was surprised that EU's extra large portions are like Americas medium. Just not enough food imo, American Mcds>>>all

This is what I said? the sales in europe are higher at McDonalds because we dont have 100 different fastfood chains over here?Except that in the sales of Europe their sales are more than the sales of America despite having less half the outlets. From what I understand, people pay more for less food as well.

arent the odds better for 1 of the 3 companies over here than 1/100 maybe 1000s in the states? You said this "...the McDonalds sales in europe would be the number of chains is a lot lower".
Which indicates that your theory is people are going to McDonald's because it one of the few franchises in Europe.
It just goes to show how good marketing can attract people. And McDonald's has a great Marketing department.

When it comes to fast food, there might be about 10 fast food places to choose from including McD's. The chains themselves will be different based on your location in the country, some are country wide and others aren't.arent the odds better for 1 of the 3 companies over here than 1/100 maybe 1000s in the states?
