Interest in a Mists of Pandaria 5.4.8 Twink Project? (Need YOUR opinion)

Hey,
some might still remember my project "Elegon - Lion's Fall" from early 2022. Which was very far into development
and then had to be stopped due to personal IRL reasons. I loved that project and the work that wen't into it.

Would people be still interested in this in 2023/2024? Are people even playing Twink's anymore? Which brackets in
5.4.8? Is there still a audience for this?

I am really thinking about catching exactly that project back up (with some changes tho) but I don't know if people are even
interested in this anymore. (See HERE what this project was about) or in general if people are even interested in MoP Twinking.
Are people just twinking on normal Private Servers or Retail these days? Is putting work into a dedicated pure Twink server still
wanted?

Would love your guys input. I def. consider picking this back up but only if there is interest in this anymore as this means
costs for me. (which are not too bad for a small project but still costs).

Pretty sure it's been done before when twink pop was high and still failed. I think it's essentially futile at this point.
