The legendary ilvl was increased to 940 on NH release in 7.1.5 so if the boxes were obtained after that then ofc they'll be 940 if opened in 7.2

They come out of Leystone Lockboxes, but we're not sure if they drop any more.

Relics at 101 range from +2 (shit Green BoE's) to +10 (highest Epic proc Quest Reward), then +32 for the 810's. Tier 1 of your Class Order Hall Tree gives you a higher chance to obtain Rare and Epic upgrades from non-Repeatable Quests.

One time quest upgrades. There are a handful of quests that can warforge higher then the 710 dungeon ones from the quests. You can do order hall resources to increase this chance, but essentially it's RNG and you get one shot at it.

I hope they auto upgrade to 970. If not and they have to be Crafted over again (or purchased again) then FML.

Freshly crafted ones on the PTR are 970 but the old ones will probably stay 940 as youd be expected to do the upgrade quest at 110

As an Elemental - Shaman i wouldnt recommend the 2h Hammer. He has more Int and Stamina but i still lose massive DPS compared to my artefactweapon (with 2x 810 relics and 23 Traits)

With high ilvl i gain way more Intelligence as i would use only mail gear, I've nearly 24k Intelligence.

The massive amount of stats outweigh the relevant armour class bonus for almost every spec in PvE and WPvP.

The 2H BoE Mace is only worth using on an alternate Spec. I seriously doubt there's a spec out there where it's superior to the Artifact Weapon.

I've seen a couple of boomies that regularly switch between their artifact wep (with plenty of traits) and the BoE mace, depending on the encounter and the chosen artifact path. I'm sure they have a reason for that. But in most cases you would be right.

I doubt that there are any boomkin who prefer the 2h mace over their artefactweapon (with 13+ Traits)

Just a couple queries.

Lucky enough to have a toon with the legendary ring from last expansion that was still 100. For anyone interested, it's +24% damage for 15 seconds.

In terms of getting legendaries to drop, has anyone able to get one from normal dungeon runs, or only the exalted rep caches?

Also, any recommendations for gear? I'm told the kazzak trinkets can get up to 785 or something? Killed him this week, no luck. Same with the 810 relics.

I was told to find leech wherever I could but thus far have found nothing particularly good.
