Increase the Twink Cup 2019 Prize Pool for FREE!!

I'm not sure either, i thought that people would jump on the idea to build up the prize pool for free. Without the interest of the usual big donators putting money towards the event, the event is bound to have a low prize pool. **Gulp**

Probably because it involves some resemblance of work.

No one has donated to this years tourney yet. Nothing is stopping you from starting your own 29/39/49/59/70 etc etc tourney and not getting donations there as well.

U twits need to figure it out. 19s has a cult-like following nd will coordinate these type of events regardless of prize pools. Either put in the work yourself, or quit complaining about the efforts of others to organize.

99.9% of those "participating" in 19s do nothing towards setting up the twink cup. Dont care what other brackets they play either.

It's a simple fact- if you want a tourney in a bracket other than 19s set one up yourself. You look stupid requesting that a 4 (maybe 5? Idk) year old tournament change brackets just because two fairies on the forums are unhappy

This site was built because of 19s. A majority of the people here play 19s. 70s had its day and I agree the year or two that it was hot we should have hosted our own (which we did later) and it made around $4500.

Good to see Troncat still around.

I miss Jayto and Gone though. =( 70s was a blast.

I am not trying to move it my friend. It was merely a suggestion for the betterment of the website and for the tournament itself. This isn’t the “19’s vs them” argument you are looking for. I know you really want it to be that. It simply isn’t that. You may see it that way. That is just you and a few other 19’s projecting their feelings on others.
Unlike many others(not all) on this resplendent site, I (and many others) am not beholden to a singular bracket. Nor do I hold a tribal feeling towards any single bracket. I have chosen to participate in more than one of them. Including playing 19’s. I have been playing 19’s since before the “great Ruin Migration”. You probably aren’t even aware of what that event is in the annals of Twinkdom.

Companies/businesses must evolve if they are to flourish. Does xpoff want the TC to flourish or wither and die like Hastings.

The TC needs to be planned months in advance. It used to be. Rules should be put in place by a neutral committee and not changed based on the player’s opinions. Revisions due to game changes will happen. The date should be set 5-6 months in advance. Can’t make it with that much notice then tough sh!t. Real tournaments don’t rearrange dates.
The sad thing is I suggest this same sh!t each and every year and each and every year it is ignored.
The time to start planning the TC’20 will be at the end of this one. The announcement should be made in January of 2020 with a June/July date.

BTW, I have volunteered my organizational and project management skills in the past.

The hard part is finding the people, that I can confirm.
The second hardest part is to appease the masses, whilst maintaining a competitive rule set that isn't favourable or influential on the play style.
Organisational and project management skills are not in high demand unfortunately. What is in demand is insightful players of the current meta who are genuine and completely unbiased with no hidden agendas and do not seek glorification in exchange for their advisory.

Running a Twink Cup in the past has proven to be hard enough, even the good ones. Having numerous other projects that are demanding to juggle alongside planning the Twink Cup makes it even tougher. Oh, before anyone says something along the lines of "if you can't do it then don't ****ing bother in future" I say to you, if someone else could step up and do it instead of me and it not be a shambles come game day - i'd love to hear from you!

I'm not currently playing 19s. Only played maybe 20 games tops in bfa? That being said, you're dumb & tink cup is a 19s event.

I've played 19s, 20s, 29s, 39s, 60s, 70s and 80s. I also started on Ruin in Vanilla (mannoroth) and didnt have to move during that migration. Get your head out of your ass acting like paying $25 to transfer and get games makes you holier than thou somehow

You suggesting it isn't necessarily a bad thing, but unless there's an actual want from that bracket (20s?) It just wont happen. I don't think many people are against it, but where is the drive to even do another one?
