Alliance is a much better choice indeed for 20 twinks and don't worry about the bow cause there is one with exactly same stats for alliance (req lvl 20 quest so not obtainable at 19): Eventide Bow - Item - World of Warcraft

Most will be playing to roll scrubs. I suspect many are of the same ilk that went to 60 and 70 capped accounts when exp-on was introduced. This is just another means to game the system.

not every single one of us enjoy pouring money into a video game. it's not about saving $15 a month, that's nothing. i make $20 an hour TA'ing undergraduate statistics/math courses. it just feels much better to "pwn" when you aren't paying anything, the difference between fun/15 and fun/0 (whose magnitude is infinity) is huge.

Blizzard does offer an advantage/crutch. It's called end game gear in end game BGs. I can't stand beating scrubs. It isn't any fun. Rateds are a pain in the ass because you need to wait for 10 people to be available and the atmosphere isn't fun. Everyone expects a win- so a win is just what should of happened. But one loss and everyone gets pissy.
You are in it for the "pwning" not for the "cost free" aspect of pwning. It's why you have been the laughing stock of every bracket you have played in.

Ok, maybe i am missing something here. When you make a trial free to play account to twink at, from what i remember you cant trade items, you cant use the mailbox, you cant use the auction house. So how are you supposed to get good enchants and things if you cant trade or use the auction house? Maybe it has changed and i dont know it?

The only you can do is level profs yourself if you want to have enchants or crafted gear. You can't really do much on a trial, and seeing as how anyone who actually pays for their account will have a substantial advantage over anyone who doesn't, the only way this would be fun is if you did war games with friends only. An open bracket with pugs and everyone @ 24 with a paid account is going to dominate.
