If wow ever became f2p

I know people talk about it a lot, especially right before the announcement of a new expansion, but what within the twinking community what would y’all think of wow ever became completely f2p? Or like play to win, or whatever setup games like eso got goin on. Would you still play within level brackets? Or play at all? Can you see it having a positive affect on the twinking community (not just the 20s) in any ways? Yaddah yaddah yaddah yaddah yunno what I mean
 
-Then the complaints and the problem the game's facing rn wont be magnified as it is now. Imagine paying 15$ monthly and a 60$ on top of each expansion for mediocre gameplay and grinding stupid ass monotonous systems like Artifact power, corruption, azerite power just for it to be removed and redo the same system but with a "different name" in another expansion.
Yeah the problems are still there, but its f2p, so wont be as bad as it is now.

-As for the twinking aspect (for me atleast), i'd forsake it and just play the game fully, and commit to fully pveing. Or erp in goldshire with scuffed scalies.
 
If twinking lost the levelers it would die as it always has until the next levelers became available. Some things will not change.

If the starter edition ever went away or moved to a different level, 20 would be dead as any other bracket... and likely most would quit as PvP at endgame isnt really the desire of the majority of people rolling hunter to pwn noobs in grays.

20s existed without levelers for years and if the content is good it probably still could.

f2play with level/profession restrictions counts as levelers. I assume you're speaking of 20-24? Yeah that was lol.

edit- 24 with locked XP crapped on worse-than-leveler f2play capped at 20 with pathetic profession caps. Same thing.

tell me you didnt play cata or mop without telling me you didnt. 24s played more like levelers than 20s did lmao.
 
Yes... and that's the story now with 12 hunters per game. No one said anything about "good"... just there for free kills.

Garbage "twinks" there for the advantage. Once the advantage is gone - even perceived advantage - goodbye games.

60 was way more like f2play now than your version. Good times to be had without PvP if you chose.

Tell me... how are games for subbed at 20 with locked XP? Or unsubbed and forgot to unlock? LEVELERS=GAMES.

nothing about that has changed. the people in full ilvl 28 mop gear or full bg crate gear still exist. So that wouldnt change. Rip your argument.

edit- there is no 10 bracket.

There is f2play cap with levelers. If f2play got dumped into locked games it would be a shit-show of locked 29 there to crap on f2play. (whether they could or not, that's the reality)
 
But that has also been the case before. We have played 3 of the last 5 expansions without levelers, you have the memory of a dog Im pretend throwing a stick to.

Fair enough, that doesnt mean it dies, you still see levelers queueing even though they know whats coming.

I dont get why you keep coming back with weaker and weaker arguments.

If the f2play cap changes, this bracket dies. End of story. Activity will follow the "fodder" whether it be f2play or levelers.

Always has, always will.

the bracket hasnt died it just moved because the f2p cap has changed so a new bracket is the f2p bracket.
 
The LEVEL BRACKET died. 10-19

They all LEVELED to match the f2play cap of 20. They became 10, but they arent 10's anymore -----> that bracket is now DEAD. The only brackets that survive at all are xp-capped brackets. The one's ------> with LEVELERS. Even 50's for a while.

If f2play goes to locked XP they become the fodder for bracket-cap locked twinks. There's always fodder for the trash twinks.

edit- not every 10 leveled.... they're too cool to ruin. But they dont get games.
