I don't get it. Why zerg the mage? (Or any other clothe class that doesn't heal)

I am both a dummy AND a troII Kincaide, White Knight of the f2p Bracket

my point was that these compIex thoughts about strategy aren't going on in peopIe's heads, they just want big crits on the cIass with the Ieast amount of armor

I shouId know, after aII, I AM a haIf-dummy

In case it matters to you Izac, I wasn't addressing you. There were other troll posts that were subsequently removed.

killing paladins is harder

I know that feeling. I think to myself when i'm beeing trailed around the whole map: "atleast i distracted them from any objective play". Then i wonder if they would have played for objectives if i wasn't there. Can you distract someone who doesn't think? These are the thoughts that keep me up at night...

Get a healer and your standard of living may improve slightly. That's the bitter truth about mages in this bracket.

If the average wow player were better (threw heals, peels, focused a single target) this would be less of an issue. Also, if Blizzard had any idea how to balance low level pvp it would be even less of an issue.

But I think Izac hit the nail on the head. For now, classes like mages and warlocks are the 'easiest' kills and people want to get big critz.

Slightly OT, Sab you always have the fucking best posts. Simple as that. I'm sure that half of your likes are from me.

Why zerg the mage? In almost every BG hunters, pallys and especially any 24 will lock on to me, despite having two or more healers on my side that they should be focusing on.
Now who in their right mind wouldn't target a mage? especially frost one.
So much cc must not be alive.

Mages have a 20% chance to suck, no matter how 'skilled' the user is.

Mages take 20% longer to do anything, a mage must spend 6 globals for every opponents 5 globals.

Why wouldn't someone target and kill a mage that has a 20% chance to not be able to defend itself?

Because regardless of how frustrated YOU are with the class, they're still a viable threat if left unattended. I saw a f2p arcane mage burn down a 24 prot war with 3k+ health yesterday in under at least half a minute because the warrior ignored him.

Don't take something as basic as prioritizing targets and flip it to demonize competent players for "picking on the little guy". That's just ignorant, biased, self serving bullshit -thought you were better than that.

Ignorant indeed, why are you straw-manning?

Well maybe you should try to put more thought into how you word things. Just looks like whiny self indulgent nonsense to me.

Just roll in bgs with a warlock friend (preferably with less than 1k hp). While your opponents are training him rather than you and chasing the warlock all over the map,you have plenty of time to retreat and think about the meaning of life/thank god that you are not a warlock.

I agree an arcane Mage is a threat if left to free cast, and if frost nova actually hits dumping stacks can make a big boom :)
But I'm talking more about these derp hunters that seek you out, running past FC and EFC alike on a quest to ruin your day.
There's nothing worse than being killed by a Merry Band of Noobs

I hunt mages on my warrior because 1 shotting them is fun and if I'm on a team we're usually winning anyway, so I can afford it.

As a mage, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to stack stam>int. High hp deters people looking for 1 shot kills to get a victory rush. I personally go after the biggest threat with the lowest hp, or target something that is already being targeted, thus causing a possible kill.
