I am looking for some arena.

Yeah hi, Cruel is back around for the time being for those that remember me. I am looking for a US or OCE server to do some f2p arena. I have done a little research (probably not as much as I should have), and I can't find any even semi active servers outside of AP. is AP still the best choice for getting arena matches going?
The only other server I've seen any activity on is BWL, and I considered rolling there, but I just want to be sure the server I choose has arenas going.

BTW: I have no idea how the cross-realm thing works. if I can just roll on any server and play with other ones, I can do that no prob. but would much prefer to be on a server with the people I'm playing with.

It's great, I love it. You'll know real quick if you like it or not I'd say. It's quite, not spammy like AP. Everyone plays well and it's a lot of fun. We have a few p2p on a night for grouping. 5-15 people on usually but sometimes it's just you. So if you are looking for constant activity it might not be the one.

It's a PvP realm but there isn't much ganking. Fishing/chest, it's all crzd now so it's similar to what you'd expect. I usually get a few chest a day though.

Yeah, they "fixed" a "bug" that let XP-off toons queue arena wargames. We had never been able to queue Battleground wargames, so it's not like we couldn't have expected Blizzard taking away our ability to have competitive PvP.

With Skirmishes, things should improve dramatically. In the mean time, you may be able to get artificial arenas going with Gurubashi arena during off-hours. Always a risk of a 90 ganking, though.

Arena is still possible if you actually go to the arena itself, e.g. Nagrand, but who can be bothered.
 
I remember you.

Some people arena'd in Nagrand for a couple hours last week on AP H.
