Honestly not to resurrect a dying troll but...
The level of skill on both sides is pretty lacking. Now, you may immediately get defensive and start flaming me for being a hunter, but hear me out. I've played with some of the best ****in players to grace twinking EVER, let alone in some shit-tier 29 bracket that's barely on its last legs. It wasnt a question of "Oh hey do you have that focus set up?" because the level of skill demanded something more intense than clicking back and forth between name plates. Shit when I had my 29 rogue still up and running for DetoX premades I had kick/gouge focus macros set up to break offenses up in premades. When I played arenas with the 39 and 29 beasts you KNEW you were up against the best, whether it was gear/macros/binds/reaction speeds/etc. It honestly wasnt fun to play against that skill level unless you adapted and absorbed many of their same habits in game. The problem with 29's today is that the same level of skill hasnt been shown or demanded in a REALLY long time (this is just speculation, but I doubt I'm wrong) so you end up with bad players playing against bad players and there is no incentive to boost your own skill. So now that good people are actually rolling 29's you either need to improve or accept the fact that you're going to lose a lot.
And as a disclaimer, I'm not claiming to be good in any shape or form (especially playing a hunter that disengages into tree stumps), but I know what I've played with/against and that lends me enough experience to comment on the skill level of current 29's.
Great example of bads that had all the gear in the world but none of the skill to back it up. Facerolled imo.

Because the resolution that I play at makes the numbers difficult to read unless I crop the SS...

Partial? It was a 10 man game lmao, their last player afk'd out cuz it was such a stomp. The only purpose of the SS is to show that even with FLAWLESS gear (Paincakes had the only funding comparable to Phauren back in the day) you can still lose with bad play and bad communication. Alternatively you can win with superior players that know how to win.
