Gloves -naga- -ashen- (+1 agi -4 crit +4 stam)
Belt -satchel- -satchel- (+1agi +1 crit +1 stam)
Legs -boa- -boa- (same)
Feet -lynx- -prison- (+2 agi +1 stam) could use cobrahns ( -4agi +4 cirt +2 stam )
Ring 1 -argas- -charged agi- (-2 agi +3 stam)
Ring 2 -ring of precision- -d-1000- (+3 agi - 5 stam - 1 hit) could use elos ( same stats )


Total stat difference
+3 agi - 5 crit +10 stam -1 hit

With black wolf and cobrahns
+1 agi +3 crit +10 stam -1 hit

Counter shot is by far more beneficial
not to mention cheetah (a good hunter should always have combat bug and never mount anyways so cheetah is essential for mobility)
and with counter shot u dont have to use a pet with an interrupt and are free to use hyena (10% haste) wolf (5% cirt) which = even more dps... or Scorpid (8 sec disarm) for some defense

And then you fail to calculate that a 20 hunter gets scaled to 24 and missing out on some gear in the example. Not to mention items scale differently in your bag then equipped which makes the equipped scaling look like a bug cause pre 5.4 it used to scale to the numbers in your bag (it will even get bigger when thats fixed). If you want to be a smart azz do it properly. Glad ive tested this already to know better then forum theory crafting and did proper experimenting in game which you obviously didnt do seeing your 24 hunter.

And what about the level scaling to 24 is what i am saying? i read yours you didnt read mine properly. It is not only gear that scales.
 
Either way, 24 shits on 20 via having counter shot and cheetah aspect. This isn't even a competition.

SS I too have a 20 p2p hunter and 24 hunter .My 24 blows away my 20. Put a fork in 20 p2p hunter. Are they viable yes but 20> 24? Hell No. This patch 24> 20s p2p . I have to 20 p2p they are collecting dust I would no put them in a premade.

like I said easy to gear and already overpowered as is but not better than 24. Thanks to Ko for giving us a break down. Anyone arguing 20 is better with scaling a lose of 2 abilities is just plain wrong
 
He is correct that you'll gain a few more sta and agi in the form of base stats by way of the character scaling from 20 to 24, but that is still peanuts in comparison to the benefits derived from counter shot and cheetah aspect.
 
I have killed every single 24 hunter in a fair fight on my 20 p2p hunter. So your opinions of 24 hunter> 20 hunter just don't fly with me sorry. Maybe you should teach all these 24 hunters to stop using countershot and concussive shot on me while I burst them down, spread the word. I can see the benefits when you are in a preform...as you steamroll the other team. Maybe in your world of games where you premade vs premade, they are better, but I will keep single queueing and stay at 20 thanks.

Level 20 solo q'ers farming kills lol. They doesn't afraid of nothing. Not even logic and common sense.
