I believe the mob needs to be targeting you. If it aggros to someone else the taming process fails. I did it on my hunter at 28 and used a freezing trap.Im with 2 accounts. Im doing 1 auto attack with a 55 hunter to get the aggro. Then with the level 30 i use tame, but after 1 seconds the spell is always cancelled.
Yeah, that was the problem. I did without problems going aloneI believe the mob needs to be targeting you. If it aggros to someone else the taming process fails. I did it on my hunter at 28 and used a freezing trap.
thats why im goin with the skilled handling gloves, soooo much easier to get fuck farming 10/10 gloves same with gnomer rings faaaaaark thatI've been over there on and off all weekend trying to get 10/10s on Sogeking. About 20 runs deep total and I've only gotten 9/10s still...
You i dont mind grinding and farming myself, but it needs to be like totally BiS, i mean the spider gloves r nice but stat wise i like the handling gloves better, and honestly the low ball res isnt going to do a hell of a lotI don't mind a little farm, ground out 6 piece dungeon set on my 79 warrior for instance (if you don't know, that's like 60+ runs of Durnhold Keep just for the shoulders) It's just not as easy on classic because our mains aren't like 40 levels above the content...

Don't forget the Armor though :[ so here's my conclusion with SV talents: Skilled Handling Gloves vs Arachnid Gloves of The Monkey
6 Agi >> 6.9 Agi
6 Stam >> 6.6 Stam
10 Int
38 Armor
VS
10 Agi >> 11.5 Agi
10 Stam >> 11 Stam
10 NR
79 Armor
Cancel out matching stats and you end up with:
10 Int
VS
4.6 Agi
3.4 Stam
10 NR
41 Armor
That's a trade that favors the Arachnids for me. Resists are actually really powerful, including my cloak enchant and Gnomer ring I'm at 20 NR, which is huge vs Rogues.
for me ill just be adding the shanks+22 on top of what i already have, sta/mana heavy, hunters already do decent damage no need to overly stack it, be interesting to compare to more damage focused build, ill go toe to toe vs the other hunter in our guild hes more agl focused but im awhile from finishing my hunter, 2 kids keep ya pretty busyI just try to be consistent, it's not like you can ever have 'enough' of a stat although at a certain point even I will stop trading Agi/Stam for Mana - like once +22 Int comes out there's no question at all that Arachnid's are BiS. Probably the bigger questions are do Miner's Hat of The Deep and Robes of the Lich still make the cut? When you can get 22 Int at the cost of 15 Agi on each weapon it's so efficient that it's worth re-evaluating.
