Indeed its horrible, haven't played in weeks. Probably won't be back. The fact that I can't change a smidgen on my character is so horrid. And they gutted the crap out of mage so nthx.

I can't seem to play anything but Frost, I enjoy the CC too much. But without Blazing Speed, Counterspell, my 1.6 sec Frostbolt 600 crits, and the good old PoM poly for druid shifts I can't put pressure on anything. I heard they are taking pet freeze away too?... Which would really be sad. I pretty much wait around for Ray of Frost to come off CD now...I messed with arcane for a bit, the pressure was decent. I'm enjoying rsham atm
I can appreciate the ice lance and ice barrier (gone in 7.1) but its not a great tradeoff.
Can't believe I'd say it but I'd take WoD mage back in a sec haha

mage as of right now has more offensive strength than ever before but they are slowly taking away every bit of cc we have.. also the fact that we'll lose pet freeze is a dealbreaker. Seems like mages all around will hang up their fishing hats in 7.1 and move on to different games

My class has been just fine for the last six expansions.
Queues have gotten shorter and shorter as time has went on. We are back to our roots to playing versus levelers like we were in Vanilla and TBC. For those that want to experience true "twink on twink" action we have the options of wargames. We have scaling so that even people that enjoy playing the lower end of bracket can still have fun.
The analysis is that many people just want to complain simply because they like to complain.

When people finish doing their thing at endgame lowbie game will gain traction again. It is like this each and every expansion. It has only been a few weeks since the release of expac. I know once I get the majority of things done that I want to do at end game I will start to focus the majority of my gaming time back on my lowbies.
As for now there are too many new things to get done at endgame. I only play a couple hours a day and about 3-5 days a week. There are probably people on here that play in a single day as much as I do in an entire week.
In time people will grow tired of Legion content and lowbies will flourish again. Then the next xpac will come out and we can rinse and repeat with this same process like we have done many times before.

Mages shouldn't have uber damage, great mobility, AND CCs out the ass. No class should. That's what's been wrong with feral too, and stuff like HoJ. Stunlocked then 100-0 in a few seconds is not good gameplay or tactics. It's a 1-button insta 'I win!' crutch.
