How to gear your 70 for PVE

I'll start off by suggesting a BiS for fury warriors (With 1H weapons).

Here is the link.

The chest from blacksmithing (Hard Khorium Battleplate) is such a small DPS gain (8 haste rating) that I chose not to include it. Haste is the worst stat for fury, but I guess a DPS gain is a DPS gain. With the buffs to fury next patch, it might become one of the highest damage specs at level 70.

Hard Khorium Breastplate also offers +4 crit over the Warharness via socket bonus - just a heads up.

going to edit in the BiS PvE Hunter & Pally Chardevs that myself and a friend have both come up with as soon as i find them.

edit1: if this actually works i'll sticky it

i'll also attempt to get some of the people in my guild to make a few of them

True about the chest, hadn't noticed - although please don't edit them into my original post before people have taken a look at them. Do you otherwise have any suggestions to improve on the warrior I linked?

I threw together an MM hunter (link) quickly, so we've got something to compare yours to. With all the recent buff to the spec, it seems to be the one capable of dealing the most damage - same should be the case after the upcoming nerf to Aimed Shot. Losing out on Cobra Shot (and Mastery) is a huge drop in DPS for BM and SV.

without being draenei that's what i came out with my finished product as.

when i said "edit them in" i meant into my original post in this thread.

I checked out the differences:

Necklace of the Deep equals 41 agility and 3 hit rating, while Hard Khorium Choker gives 58 AP, 29 haste and 22 crit (took 20 agi from each). In other words: 91 AP, 1.11% crit and 0.2% hit vs 58 AP, 1.83% haste and 0.99% crit. Given the relatively low value of haste, it seems Necklace of the Deep wins out.

By the way, Chardev is bugged and shows the Relentless Meta as requiring 1 yellow gem - it does not. In game it only requires 3 reds to activate. This means you can put pure agility in every slot (seeing as Agi > everything else). Apart from gemming agi in all sockets, it should also have 50 AP on bracer rather than 38.

I don't see why you'd use Quel'Thalas bow over Thori'dal, since normalization of all your shots means the difference in weapon speed is of very little consequence. The two bows are extremely close though - seems the legendary lost much of its punch after ammo was removed.

As for the T6 shoulder vs. chest, here is why I chose shoulder:

Golden Forest shoulder over T6:

14 agility

7 crit

-34 haste

Phoenix chest over T6:

7 agility

8 AP

25 crit

4 haste

This means we're looking at:

7 agility

VS.

18 crit

8 AP

38 haste

In this case, I'd go with the bottom option (SWP chest / T6 shoulder). If you don't have LW, the gain is obviously lower, but still high enough to take the T6 shoulder.

Trinkets are a rough choice. DST was insane for hunters in TBC, but haste is now a pretty weak stat compared to crit, so there may be a need for re-evaluation.

Using the Illidan trinket means you can use 16 agility on boots over Icewalker, but also grants 80 AP as opposed to the 40 on the DST. I'll have to dig deep in some of the old EJ threads to figure out the uptime on these babies before a final decision can be made.

About rings: I checked out how much AP the Eternal Champion ring is worth. The proc has a 55 sec ICD, which means it averages out to ≈27 AP. The Hard Khorium Band gives 1 additional agility as well as 28 haste rating. I speculate it may be better, but can't give a definitive answer yet.

Edit: Updated Fury Warrior chardev with blacksmithing chest - link here.

aye.. doing the math to see what the best t6 piece would be to get that 4pc bonus right now, going to post an updated one.

edits:

Vicious Hawkstrider Chest --->T6 Chest

-7 Agility

-7 Crit (.04%)

-7 Haste (.05%)

-1 Stamina

-154 Armor

Mantle of the Golden Forest ---> T6 Shoulders

-11 Agility (14 W/ Socket Bonus)

-4 Crit (.02%)

+34 Haste (.27%)

-27 Stamina

-115 Armor

Think I'm going to switch the Chest slot around

^ Updated

There was my math without using the LW Chest as I prefer Blacksmithing for the 2 extra gem sockets.

We're still looking at 7 agi vs 3 crit + 41 haste, so I contend the shoulder is better even if you don't have Leatherworking.

ill fix up a Mage Rogue one.

and maybe Titans grip instead of SMF

please do... i'm gearing my rogue(s) now <:

preferably combattt

Here's my suggestion for a combat rogue.

The AR glyph is way better than the RvS glyph, and I can recommend the Feint glyph for majors over sprint, not only for the reduced AoE damage, but if your tank sucks, spamming feint on cooldown means you're less likely to aggro.

I argued for Necklace of the Deep on the last page, and about the trinket, Expertise is just too sick to pass, especially given how high uptime the proc on the Shard has (≈40%). It's especially important at 70, since a rogue will have so much haste it's hard not to energy cap - with low expertise and short bursts of 300 haste, this will become even more of a problem. Also, Chardev is showing a bug on the Agi meta, it only requires 3 red, not 1 yellow - so just throw full agi in all sockets.

Can someone make a Chardev out of this set? With perfect rings, neck, gems on wep etc? I got to little knowledge in the 70 gear, to make it myself. Though I guess I am getting close to BiS PvE

I made a BiS list for a druid in my guild no more than a few days ago - link here.

About the ring, I can't say whether the Hyjal ring is better than Hard Khorium Band. I would actually assume Hard Khorium is superior, I just didn't want to intimidate the druid with all sorts of expensive craftables. Other than that one ring, I believe the chardev to be accurate.
